The theme isn’t just rich and glamours. The theme is Gilded Glamour, Glided refers to the 1870s to 1890s. She looks wonderful but she’s not really on theme.

Not for at least 2 months I would guess. Maybe by August? I don’t think Lana would be on the cover unless she has something to promote. Could be promo for BTIG or LDR9. If it’s LDR9 I would guess some sort of announcement (first single?) would be coming this month or early June at the latest? Someone said Jack is going on tour May-August so maybe they’ve banked the album and it’s ready to go for a late summer release? It’s times like this I miss @lustforlife teases (even if they were made up)

People who preach about abstinence from leaked unreleased material are kind of like the people who preach about abstinence from sex before marriage. They think it will grant them the graces from the person/thing they idolize. The truth is, what’s out is out. People not listening to things that have leaked won't change the fact that they have leaked. Neither will it result in Lana writing you a personal letter, declaring you her best fans. Actually, her putting leaked material on Blue Banisters could actually be a direct result of her songs leaking. Her interest in releasing unreleased material and outtakes sparked out of the popularity of her unreleased catalogue. Songs she once considered not good enough for a release, were possibly reevaluated by her.

This. Hit the nail on the head. Maybe there isn’t an album coming right away, but there is clearly a lot more effort being put in than ever before. The fact that her label has acknowledged her publicly and that she is able to go to events like this really goes to show that there’s still interest in her and I think that her long hiatus has definitely helped with that. Also: By now, Capitol will have heard a lot of the new material so them putting effort into her career shows that the new music is good. They wouldn't invest in her - especially after almost a decade of new material - if the new record wasn't something show stopping.

i know tonight must have been anxiety inducing for her but she looked so confident and gorgeous, i'm honestly so proud of her for being there. between the single announcement with the music video and this new publishing deal and attention from capitol and festival dates and her $35K met gala ticket there is clearly an investment being made, i feel optimistic that an album is coming. maybe i will eat my words. i've been listening to her music since she released 'one' and it was honestly emotional seeing her out at a high profile event after years of effective radio silence. even if she doesn't write every lyric of every song i still think she's a visionary artist and unique talent with a beautiful voice. i just really want her to succeed

once the song is out, i think it’s pointless to avoid it, & i don’t think it makes you morally inferior to engage with leaked content, it may come off as harsh, but, every musical artist will have leaks, obviously some artists have more leaks than others, but i’m sure nearly every musician/singer has had at least a couple songs/demos that were leaked onto the internet, even niche, small artists, if somebody’s a big fan of an artist, of course they’ll want to hear all that’s available from a certain artist, sometimes an artist’s unreleased work, especially if it’s from their early career, can say so much about them & their talent, i know lana’s unreleased music is a huge aspect of why i’m such a massive fan, of course, there may be certain situations where a song leaks & we know the artist is very upset & not okay with it (we all know what i’m talking about) & in that case i think it would be wrong to listen to the song

i noticed it too like significantly noticed it BUT like you said - not in a bad way at all!! I actually think she looks better with a little bit of age on her face. She has a very mature, old-school-elegance type bone structure that was really shining in the Met pics.

Loves it. I only joined this forum to keep up with Lana leaks. So much beautiful material that would otherwise have disappeared into the void. Unfortunately it's been a bit dry lately but I will celebrate every new drop we get.

She sang Serial Killer on her tour, so how are fans supposed to sing along if they don't listen to the leaked stuff? It's everyone's damn duty to listen to her leaked songs.

Lana is more than welcome to drop a country masterpiece that would actually be good and she’s demonstrated that with her performances of hey blue baby and I must be stupid. I also think her duet of eat for free would fit and prettiest girl in country music. It can be done, but It needs to have the right energy. Is it what I want ultimately, no. I miss her presence in aesthetic and concept and the built up hype and her curated self made worlds. We’ve gotten some vibes with her recent releases in terms of “eras” but I don’t think they are as cohesive as they’ve been in the past but that’s not to say that the songwriting doesn’t slap and the music isn’t good. I’m just relying too much on Lana to make me not depressed so whatever she does is what she’ll do and I’ll still love her. This post brought you by wine.

In recent times... definitely. Didn't she literally announce WHF and RCS the same day or the day after the previous album was released? I think the biggest wait was from HM to LFL (and it was shorter cause Love leaked but it wasn't even 2 whole years between the HM album and LFL lead single)

The fact that she missed so many opportunities to promo K-12 properly, like, she made a whole ass film and didn't even do a behind the scenes/making of, Show & Tell was being the most streamed song and the only thing they did was release the mv first and leave it as it is, no mirrored choreography videos for Detention/Show & Tell/HSS when they could just easily leave the acting scenes out and put the full choreo without cuts...
