It's weird how she blamed Capitol for the lack of releases all these years and now is her who feels insecure about releasing music while Capitol is the one supporting her. Everything is so strange. But for the first time in a long time I'm proud of her saying the truth about why she deleted the original post and blamed no one but herself. That's what I want from her: honesty. And I applaud that.

I feel for her, i’m no stranger to deleting things in a panic or state of embarrassment i’m just tired of her playing with everyone’s emotions/ always keeping us in the dark.. but i am rooting for her

I dont even want multiple singles for Masochism like one is already pushing it… its too risky as it gives her more time to delay the album. We just want the 15 track 1 hour long album ma. and we want it a week after the single drops

If ever there was a time for her to follow up with an album, I think this is it. She seemed a little uncertain around Downhill; she had $5, an unfinished album, and scraps from her Playboy shoot with Sandy. I may be speaking out of turn as I don’t know her personally but I also feel like she’s in a much better place/looks healthier now? This could very well be another false start but with the amount of budget and actual acknowledgment from Capitol, things are looking up Little Ferrets

I gathered where she revealed the album name through médias for previous eras I remembered. - UV: Tropico premiere, followed by Insta post (thanks, @takemetothegasstation) -HM was it at an event or through an e-magazine? I do remember that she said she had a record named Music To Watch Boys To; -LFL: the trailer I think? -NFR: radio première of VB, one of the two first singles; -Chemtrails: first mention of said record was through an e-magazine, NFR’s release day, saying she was working on the next album, not wanting to take a break. she casually let the title out in her QFTC post. I don’t even think it was meant to be revealed so soon. Interview magazine, with an official photoshoot, gave us more insights on the project, which was revealed Labor Day Weekend; LMLYLAW followed in October. -BB: Insta post with Picsart in April. Triple single release in late May. It was renamed after her Insta post of RCS, the day after COCC was released. so… no, we don’t have an album name yet. But why do a printed magazine interview, with professional photoshoot, mentioning the album if it wasn’t coming sonner rather than later? Keep in mind though that the music industry is having a hard time with their schedule (every damn artist recorded during the pandemic and vinyl supply chains can’t meet demand - didn’t Lana herself said it took now five months for vinyls to be made? We’re far from the 90-day period between finishing an album and release, in the LFL era), but I think a single before end of summer is realistic. She’s been real quiet in the past weeks, before her trip, and Jack is going back on tour. Plus the interview gave me the impression that the direction of this album was set and has been only « recently »; before that, last year and early winter, she was maybe more casually recording? so what do you think?

She's been traveling a lot and Rob hasn't teased from the studio in some time so it's either: - Album is done and they are just mixing and mastering stuff while planning the rollout + physicals Or - They are on a break cause Jack is on tour until August so she's taking some deserved time off herself too. It was also a pretty convenient time to stop (or to finish the album ) cause she had to go to NY to shoot the cover and then to Italy for the Gucci event so it was planned either way I guess. I still think it's weird that she hasn't teased any music or single if the album was indeed done cause she always releases something pretty ahead of the record so who knows. Maybe this time they want to start the "era" once everything is entirely ready (which I'd love but I'm scared of the whole album leaking before we even have a single )

One of her best songs and one of my favourites <3 it’s just so perfect. The poetry, her vocals, the serenity of the instrumentation…just gorgeous. An absolute classic

This song will always have a special place in my heart. Back in 2015, I was on a trip to California and Las Vegas. The first part of the trip was in California. The whole trip, I was vibing hard to UV. On the last night of the trip, as we were leaving LA, I’m back to my hotel room, I open up Insta… and Lana had posted the first teaser of the title track… The eerie vibes, the Honeymoon line repeated, the somber strings, the tiger… It’s one of her most hypnotic Lynchian tracks ever, one I associate with hot summer evenings. I love this song so much.

The best advice that someone could give to Sky would be to let her team be in charge of her social media. She needs to stay away from her social media for her own sake (both mentally and PR wise)

The audacity of this bitch to not make DF available on Deezer. Btw, I've talked with my friend who makes indie music about the types of artists. She talked about toxic perfectionists who will obsess over unnecessary stuff and scrap their perfectly good songs and be left with nothing. I immediately thought of Sky. Imagine how much that used to cost when music was recorded on a tape? People like Sky would have even slimmer chances of doing anything.

I bet we are either getting a simple title (imagine another self titled ) or an obnoxiously long one similar to Chemtrails. I hope it's nothing corny like Inside My Mind: Thoughs and prayers I feel like we (myself included) are reading too much into what she told in the interview. I think she just said what felt more interesting about the album and the writing process and not necessarily about the album as a whole. We are probably getting a mix of some classical Lana tracks, piano ballads and angry rambling BBS style. Lana is the best at describing her music when saying little (like when she said NFR was "sad girl shit" or something like that) so I think the most clear concept would be "I'm angry"
