Still would be SHOCKED if Del Norte County materializes as a real title. While it is obviously an incredible title, I feel like it was utterly concocted in Lanaboards Labs from 3 letters and a wave. Not only was that wild guess correct, but it happened to be the title of the lead single??

I know she won't do it but I kinda want a bit of experimental chaos, like the Money Power Glory demo, GKIT demo, Cult Leader and FMWUTTT demo. That kind of genre-defying sound with good thoughtful lyrics like much of what was in Violet might be too much for this world to handle, but im ready for that Bend my mind again

I kinda want a surprise release, not for the shock of it but so we have (at least) 11-12 brand new songs to listen to without knowing a single thing about them. NFR was 70% spoiled Chemtrails was short and we knew 4/11 songs BB we also knew like more than half of the album before release between the pre release singles and the unreleased songs. I'd be fine with 1 or 2 singles beforehand but only if the album has at least 14 tracks I mean I can also not listen to anything until the whole album is out but I know I don't have the willpower to do that

I think the Trio has more meaning than being added for fun. The beginning of BBS is also a sample from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Plus BBS is her “revenge” song, so to have that ominous intro like the Trio is actually pretty great: here’s what you’ve been waiting for, y’all!!! (Manifesting a complex song like this or White Dress on LDR9… something a bit strange, a bit unpolished at moments but certainly a song to go back to and to get accustomed to)

Eclipse made that assumption on ATRL. He said BTD - UV - HM form a trilogy; LFL was made for the fans so it doesn’t count in a trilogy; NFR-COCC -BB form another (the singer-songwriter trilogy). Before WCE was out, he said she had made new songs that could open up to a “new trilogy”… I read into that that it was something different from the last albums, whether or not if there really is something planned that much ahead (but I don’t think so). The real question is: How much did he hear actually? Honeymounz, on IG, said there were three other songs submitted for Euphoria but only WCE got picked up. So, I think he heard those songs and maybe DNC if it was finished back then?

This album could be released today and still sound brand new, 19 years later. Also, I’m really impressed by the mastering and how high quality it sounds.

I can see her spatially following from iyldwm manifesting a track that sorta amalgamates a feel similar to brooklyn baby and TG atmospherically n visually like watercolor eyes/ride/ wait for life Dressed in a slow overly sunny day with her parting curtains from an arch shaped tall window, camera having the frame from the outside, the window’s got twisted white bars from the outside A casual fun bright intro Amp’d by the sound and speed of cars riding at night by unknown empty roads w green I’d love to hear a track about her being able to do whatever she wants, but not knowing exactly what. another track about being happy and surrendering to it if even just glimpses that flicker and fade a breathtaking song that causes you to really pause and another i went down to woodside energy moment sprinkled in somewhere the middle I’d personally love an album that carried onto a violet colored record. Thematically and aesthetically. or at least even on a cd i know we got a magazine w some news and clues, but atm, that’s all im kind of envisioning from a lana collective-esque perspective. sky's vocals being "drowned" has always been part of her signature sound, her voice being mixed between instruments rather than being in a privileged spot in the design is something that goes back to NTMT –for example: the whole album lmao but like boys, ain't your right, omanko etc. and the same applies for her "noisy production". sky's music is not for you if you consider don't forget "horribly mixed", and that's ok, but don't pretend like that's your hot take and not just a matter of personal preference.

LDRVillage's director made it and he said it may appear as merch but there's no confirmation that it means anything album related. Maybe it's just a - she wore it so it's merch now - thing but I don't see Lana teasing random acronyms for nothing knowing she wore it for an award show and also had a little polaroid photoshoot with the same jacket (which is the same one of the FIILY/TG MV with another logo)

"Orchestral yet menacing vibes" sounds like '13 Beaches' to me. I like 'Del Norte County as a title for a track and/or an album, but have we confirmed that the DNC jacket was made by her team? Isn't it possible it's merchandise reflecting some other product and she just happened to have it on? Look at the way she's dressing day-to-day now, it's almost anything goes, but in the plainest manner possible.

DNC being the lead single is possible if LDR Village is indeed having jackets made with the logo. Unless the song went down the chopping board… as for the title being Del Norte County, I never thought it would be it until Rob said there were beautiful SF songs made for the album, so maybe… anyways, DragonWhore was called a liar a couple of times by @fl0r1dakil0s. And everything DragonWhore shared is a little bit too good to be true… A lead in July, orchestral yet menacing vibes for the album, psychedelic undertones… I mean, isn’t it the dream Lana album!?

I don't know why everyone on Twitter acts like they know what's going on in her life. Someone will say something with no back-up, and everyone else will just believe it. First, stans were saying that she's moving because "people can't stop leaking her address and music". She's probably just selling because her home is worth 3× what it was when she bought it, and she could get out of LA and fund future projects with that money. Her address has been out for years, her fans just want someone to be mad at over nothing. They blame "leakers" for literally anything, lol. Now, they're saying she "ruined her voice" by smoking weed, and that's why she has a vape in that new pic(over-analysing, much?). She has a lighter next to the vape, so she's probably still smoking something, and either way she didn't ruin her voice with weed. She just has a soft voice that gets easily tired by the technique she uses, and it's understandable that she struggles with some songs, especially towards the end of concerts. Like, I understand speculation. I understand being bored and wanting discussion, we're all bored at this point. But some people just make shit up and spread it around just to talk about something and it's weird. Make it stop, lol.

i think she has tons of potential as DIRECTOR, because she has a vision and she does everything in her power to make that vision come to life. but she cannot write a good script for the life of her and neither can she act. if she accepted she's not great at everything and used help with that, i think she could make a good film someday. but i agree that she should focus on making a good album and rollout, and making movies seperally. she just can't help but wanting to do everything at the same time...

i think it would just be better if she just stopped teasing the songs and releasing half of them before the album release. as much as I'd love a surprise drop I dont think she'd be able to pull it off sales/success wise and only huge artists like beyonce and taylor can really have a successful surprise drop. but its lana and she does whatever he wants
