I realise we are 96 pages in and i haven't shared my opinion yet... Anyway here's my thoughts on the new album and upcoming era:

I think I say this every album cycle but this is the most excited I've been to hear what's coming. For Chemtrails we had an extensive interview where she described a lot about the album (cause it was supposed to be out already by that time or very soon but delays happened ). BB we already had the title track snippet, then the 3 singles and the unreleased tracks so we also knew more or less what was coming. But LDR9 is a big mystery other than knowing producers and a couple of remarks Lana made (she didn't even reveal the title and I know she had it already unless the interview was way older than the photos). She's been so secretive about this project and that makes me even more excited (plus the fact that insiders are clueless this time around) I sense greatness coming

Her team doesn't necessarily dislike Lanaboards, they just don't like when leaks happen, especially when it's to be released material (which is the purpose of the rule-- no links to released material/no links to download to-be-released material) but they've done exclusive releases for merch for Lanaboards as recent as last year I believe. she definitely knows and her team does too, but as far as her possibly having an account? she prolly does just to lurk we just don't know lol imagine how meta that would be tho. i don't even think elle knows if she has an account but i'd like to think so. ben and ed probably have accounts so they can see what we talk about or what has leaked, it probably then gets to Lana that way.

i had a dream last night that i was browsing this thread, we were discussing mermaids, & @IanadeIrey claimed to be a mermaid! we were also talking about how lana was spotted at a restaurant blasting cruel world i also remember looking through giphy, trying to find a gif, but i found scat instead

Okay UMG Antarctica just got back to me. It's called Polar Pussy Princess, it's a gothic dark EDM dance album with winter aesthetics. It comes out Jan 1st 2023 and is 30 tracks long!

Okay all, this version is an official release. It is available to listen to on Spotify. Therefore, all direct download links after this point will result in a ban. It seems people were unclear that was an official release rather than an unreleased leak, so I'll be removing links from this thread and issuing warnings. Usually, a punishment for posting download links to leaks of official releases is a permanent ban, but it seems this was a surprise official release that people weren't aware of and mistook for a leak. That was her first non-album song and maybe the last collab song of Bobby Womack before his death? So definitely a very special song, yesterday was the 10th anniversary of its release.

I keep thinking about how Lana said she was angry in the songs and yet her dad seems to be pretty involved in the album. She didn’t want to talk about WW around him, which makes sense, but it seems like she might hold back lyrically around him. It will be interesting to see what the songs will end up sounding like, because I’m having a hard time imaging anything other than cute family songs like Sweet Carolina.

I think she was scared of what kind of questions the fan would ask about WFWF but she knows her father is going to listen to the songs anyway so I don't think she would hold back. Also Rob's fav song is Florida Kilos... I don't think Lana has to censor herself for her dad But I agree in part, I guess he's going to be on the less intense songs (or maybe he just plays in one track but he's been practicing it a lot)
