At this point I don't think we're getting an album this year. And, to be honest, I don't mind it at all. If anything, the trip to Italy, Rhode Island etc. might have inspired her even more. I would gladly wait until next summer as long as she intends to release her trippiest, cuntiest and most sophisticated album to date.

Cause Ellie just released a single and they are both under Polydor (they even have the same manager ) She's probably not putting out an album anytime soon tho so if that was the case it wouldn't really be a problem and Lana is probably a higher priority anyway. Here I am, once again, to report another LDR9 dream I had Lana did an interview with Pitchfork that also included a photoshoot. The pictures I remember from the shoot were her in two long, flowy dresses, one yellow and one blue, where she was posing up against a large tree. Her hair was long, wavy, and parted to the side. It sort of reminds me of a cross between these photos: The main photo used for the article was artwork of her, sort of like they've done for previous articles. In the artwork, she had big bouffant hair and gold hoop earrings, sort of like for her 2017 V magazine shoot, and she looked mad. The article talked more about how she was expressing anger on her new record, so it was fitting. The article also included a bunch of photos of her at the Gucci Cosmogonie event, apparently because there was a section of the article that talked about Gucci & fashion. In the interview, she confirmed the title of the record, which indeed used the DNC acronym. However, it was very complex and not something that anyone could have guessed. It was: Distrust ____ Conundrum (can't remember the second word) She said it was a reference to how she's become more distrusting of others over the years, mostly romantic partners and those in the media. She also stated that the first track on the record was titled Exceptional, and said it was a response to the treatment she received by the media in recent years. (In one of my other LDR9 dreams, there was also a song that was a response to media treatment, so I feel like this is really a sign that there will actually be a song like this on the record. Subconscious, don't fail me now.) She also said she almost scrapped the track because she kept forgetting how to spell the word exceptional and kept trying to put a 'k' in it. This sparked fan conspiracies that there would be another song about K on the record since apparently this was a sign that he was still on her mind. That's all I remember from the article because I didn't read the whole thing, but when I went to post it on LanaBoards, I saw that one of our banned members hacked the site so they could make a thread for it, but they totally messed up the formatting of the site. There was a bunch of jumbled code and it was a real headache. Let's hope that bit doesn't come true! Then while I was trying to fix it, Elina from ANTM Cycle 11 brought me a sandwich that contained peanut butter, jelly, mayo, mustard, cucumber, and tomato on a footlong white bread sub. Pretty sure everyone is getting irritated because Melanie and her people are doing everything to make quick money besides her just "doing her job" and releasing music. She never posts, never gives updates, never does anything anymore. Her fans are tired of paying for a person that barely exists, and on one hand, that's on them for buying the merch, on the other hand I get it. Remember when she even released a whole new song on SoundCloud immediately after being accused of SA in 2017? That just shows that she *can* release unscheduled music, she just doesn't. It's not just a record label issue at this point.

here’s my think-piece: it’s getting tiring seeing people on the internet constantly criticize & bash lana for everything she does, i understand completely why people are weirded out by her boyfriend, honestly, i am too, but i think it would be foolish to completely judge lana’s character & diminish her artistry because of it, lana’s made mistakes & has done some questionable things, but the way people act towards her specifically is especially ridiculous, people bring up things which she did YEARS ago (headdress, feminism comment, etc.) without taking a second to think that these things occurred years ago, she’s likely changed, & it’s not like she can travel back in time & stop herself from doing these things, i know qftc was something very complicated for everybody, including the fans, but it’s almost frightening to see how many people nowawdays can’t seem to comprehend or even think beyond their ego & try to look at things with a balanced & sensible approach, lana might not be perfect, she may even be strange, but there are celebrities who have done equally/worse things & have basically gotten away with it, there are celebrities who have commited horrible crimes & still have careers & supporters, people are so selective with their outrage, it’s sad to see, lana’s mistakes & questionable actions just do not compare to other celebrities who are still mostly loved & praised by the general public, & at the end of the day, lana’s boyfriends or comments she made a decade ago really have nothing to do with my love for her art, & i rue the day that somebody thinks i’m wrong just for enjoying her music, i don’t even know her, it wouldn’t even be right for me to say i love her so much as a person because i don’t actually know her, i just know the art & what she has chosen to share with the world, her art means so, so much to me, & there’s nothing that she has done which has ruined that for me, at the end of the day, lana’s not perfect, she may be flawed, but most celebrities are probably really weird as well, & so is everybody else on this planet, nobody’s perfect, we’ve all made mistakes, we all have quirks & flaws, i think people need to start realizing this because clearly people are losing the ability to understand that people are complicated & it’s fucking stupid to judge somebody’s entire existence off of one thing, when they don’t even know the entire situation

This album is going to be a true serve, some of you just aren't ready to face the facts.

Love all the songs she made with TLSP, but I do wonder how many of them there are still left to use. Four already found their way to albums (including Loaded)… Miles hinted that they had recorded enough for an album, if I remember correctly… or he might have exaggerated a bit (including demo-ish songs).

People are projecting their self-hatred & overall anger issues on celebrities and it's tiring. Bringing up something someone said or did years ago for the sake of a viral tweet/moment, or in hopes to expose someone to appear virtuous and/or concerned about an issue is ridiculous and so overdone it comes across as disingenuous and creepy. There is a time and space to call someone's problematic behaviour out, but there should also be a place for atonement, otherwise the so called purity ring shrinks (news flash, no one is that pure or virtuous). The entitlement and online saviour complex/keyboard warriorism is laughable, obnoxious & rude.

re: ethel cain, it's hilarious to me how she'll get really defensive whenever someone points out the obvious ldr influence in her music / aesthetic (like the pitchfork review of her album which was, lbr, on point) but won't resist inserting herself in the current ldr discourse in a ~i won't be outdone, but make it ironic~ sorta way, thus proving lana truly lives in her mind rent free

Agreed! Lana is honestly so un-problematic overall, she's clearly got such a kind heart and some of her "controversies" were just misconstrued by the public and unfairly blown up. She's just been a target for hate since she first emerged and it seems like that will follow her forever to some degree. People are too dumb and lazy to take the time to understand certain things so they just jump on the bandwagon instead.

I can't describe how much i love the "This place is so Lana Del Rey vinyyyyl 💅🏻" meme. Those were basically my thoughts when I see an old fashioned home with a huge garden of roses. I can also be super cocky for using that sound/quote and being an owner of a Lana Del Rey vinyl. Tiktok is doing q service for this fan base, not ruining it like some people may think. Also if Doja Cat or Ariana Grande had a boyfriend like that people would be defending them with their life. People are so empathetic to attention seeking celebs like the Kardashians but pick on Lana probably for not being good at defending herself. Why would anyone care about someone's partner unless he's a pedo, Nazi, racist etc. Where's that energy for Nicki Minaj's husband?
