Guys i know nothing is happening so far but i've thought of something.. When NFR got released on aug 30th 2019, Don't call me angel was also relased 2 weeks later and i remember how lana got millions of likes due to the fact that she collaborated with big names such as Ariana and Miley who both have big fandoms. and NFR got really praised (ofc i am not saying thats the only reason) but that song gave lana many followers and new fans.. so what if there's actually a Lana and Taylor collaboration on the Midnights album and Lana (ofc not lana but interscope and ben) want lana to release a single during that time so it gets praised again and she gains more popularity? again nothing is for sure and all of this could be bulshit but just a little thought for the day - i know lana seems to not give a fuck about it tho

If she's on Taylor's album and she has a single coming they would definitely try to capitalize on that so it makes a lot of sense... It would be really great exposure for Lana so it would be stupid not to release anything after that boost.

at this point i've resigned all hope for new music anytime soon, and honestly that's fine by me! we've been fairly spoiled over the past year and a bit, so i can live with waiting for new music as long as it's super super good! now what i WOULD like...... is for lana to announce a string of "one night only" intimate shows in a few different locations with entirely unique setlists and ultimately a 4K recording to be released afterwards, including songs from BB and COCC and new arrangements of older songs that we already know, to fill the time during the wait for LDR9.

So Tove just had her aussie tour dates this past week, I went to see her in Melbourne and Sydney and actually asked her about this after her Sydney show. Basically I asked her if she had any plans for the extended versions for a physical release, she said maybe, and that she wanted to add the extra little nuggets for the fans as a special thing. (I.e. For the music videos + live versions.) Which kinda tracks with what she said in the NME interview below: "However, the singer felt that “the way we consume music, the way I interact with fans, it’s changed so much” and wanted to share her music in a way that reflected that. “It’s my fifth album, and I built this platform and have these very dedicated human beings who are with me,” she said. “I wanted to do things in a different way, and I felt like the only way I’m going to be able to do exactly what I want is if I just do it on my own.” Source: So at the moment, no, but it sounded like she's aware that the fans are in love with the extended versions and is considering something.

This sub is really ready to take a single drop and develop into an ocean of negative thoughts. She showed us in stories before her at home set up for recording. There are probably things she tests at home sound-wise before heading to the studio because it is expensive considering how she’s not getting any funding. What is she supposed to do there for hours? Sit and write lyrics? Having a vocal coach there? Hang out with her producers? Like in those fake documentaries about studio sessions? Yes, it takes time for her figure out what she wants and do it exactly according to her plans. She was open about that too. That takes a lot of effort to work with people outside of studio. She also said that she was recording in London in August. She was also describing the analog sound panel at Capitol from the 80’s and how it’s the only place that still has something like this working and available for artists. She’s clearly present in the studio and not only at Capitol. It sounds like people here still measure her as conventional pop star that report her every pr-step and notify the fans about every bop or another pop girlie duet that’s coming. She’s clearly not.

Well um, I wouldn't want to accuse her of lying about a car accident in case it was true... but I wonder why she was late to almost all of her other 2022 shows then.

I have a theory about Lana's collaboration on Taylor's album. We all know that every day Taylor uploads a video to tiktok at midnight and through a raffle she reveals the names of the songs. In the remote case that Lana is a collaboration in any of those songs, I feel that Taylor, who really knows how to promote her music, would not reveal the collaboration right away, she would only say the name of the song and when the entire tracklist is revealed, we will see there the collaboration and thus it would maintain the hype for much longer, that is to say, she would not give the fans all the good things at once. or maybe there's no Lana collab and i'm just talking shit.

C, E and F are my only fears (even though C is not realistic for Lana). I don't care abour her Nikki music as long as the keep it separate (and she said recently that they won't release it anytime soon so yeah... If she goes country it's probably not yeehaw and more classic so I don't mind and Jack... well we know she has some songs with him but he's not the main producer. I like to complain about jack but I actually enjoy their work together even though I always see more potential that what we get in the end

It most likely it was made for Lana, they would have made this track together in 2010/2011 when Lana was going on a tour around London working with random producers. Paul Ressel uploaded this instrumental (which is different from the LDR Wolf version) in 2013, so it's possible he just liked it and realized Lana wasn't doing anything with it (Also explains why he called it "Wolf"). I'm assuming she met him and they recorded a slow version of it together. Eventually Wolf would have evolved into Hot Hot Hot which may or may not also be produced by Penny Foster. After that she would have reworked Hot Hot Hot into Big Bad Wolf with Penny. (It's possible all 3 versions were made with different producers tho since we don't have confirmation who made HHH)

I'm not that worried about the album being really far cause her past rollouts were actually kinda concise if you ignore the fake stuff and dates. Chemtrails: lead in October album in March. BB: May to October (or from September if you take Arcadia as the lead since the triple singles were before the album changes). Considering she has been silent about everything this time, I think it's going to happen even faster. I wouldn't be surprised if we get the first single with the album announcement and the preorder this time LMLYLAW and the triple BB singles were released before even sending the album to production but this time she can announce stuff when she has a real release date for the record

The title track is my most streamed Song right now I don't know what this song does to me but it resonates with me so much & there is something special about it. It's so beautiful & the outro makes me feel like turning into a werewolf ( the mv impact) Chemtrails & Yosemite became two of my all time favourite songs ever & in this foggy autumn weather they sound even better

do we actually know if paul ressel made "wolf" for lana? my understanding was always that he'd uploaded the track to that music library first (i.e. where the demo instrumental came from), and then lana found it and sang over it, and the song was further developed from there into the final version granted, I don't remember where the demo version with vocals came from, if we got that before or after the instrumental was found...

Honestly, it's a really good soundtrack song, I get it The real question is whether or not Lana knows about this
