This is absolutely true. As I said last week, I stand by her decision to write and release whatever she wants to release, but that, of course, doesn't mean fans and stans are necessarily going to like or embrace it en masse. 'Serene Queen' is an excellent choice for "what if the album sounded like this?" I'd like to hear more uptempo or semi-uptempo dramatic songs along the lines of 'Summetime Sadness,' 'Cola,' 'Ride,' '13 Beaches,' 'Angels Forever,' 'Hollywood,' and 'The Greatest.' I liked the three singles well enough--especially TB and WFWF--and the new song sounds good. But especially after COCC, I'm in the mood for something livelier, with more contrast and edge.

The account Leaking news on Twitter made two posts about Lana. According to them, the tracklist should be posted soon, with the single in August. Of course, this could only be speculation (it’s been my guess since the July post), but this account is more reliable than Dior for example, and they come back when plans did change (which happens a lot with many artists, especially with the shitload of releases coming until the end of the year).

It’s also because many of us are bored with ballads and it seems to be an album full of them is on the way. Imagine if she shared a snippet of something that sounded like Serene Queen …hype would jump through the roof. Fans were excited when Lana stated she ‘wanted revenge’ that conjured up images of fast paced songs, with fire and shouty angry music (dealer). Now it’s just all gone limp, whilst her ballads are beautiful it’s become stale and I’m sad to say predictable.

I have always been more excited about Yosemite (when it was unreleased) than I am for Dealer (still not sure about the whole screaming part, but a Zach song makes me less worried), but I wish it ends up on BB if only to switch the pace a little.

did a little album concept based on all the og pictures we got from k-12. i think the chalkboard picture works 1000x better as a cover, i just don't see the floating head one as a good option so i used it for the inside of the cd. the result looks kinda cute, i think i prefer this then the screencaptures from the movie we got in the actual booklet. what do you guys think?

So is Map Of LA/Sierra Madre the official LB name for that song? Coming up with our own names after snippets brings me bittersweet memories from the NFR era . I think it's going to be called Good God but if it was considered as the album title at some point I'm not sure. Maybe it's Good God as a relief sigh (or a moan ) like what she used to say when singing White Mustang live cause she's finally free to tell her story or whatever went through her head after qftc.

The title is good and makes me curious. It’s nice she wants to do new things with her voice… but screaming will either be super iconic or horribly wrong, the way I see it.

imo this album was not much better than L+F the concept, cute. visuals, cute. the singles were bops, Man's World especially was great but released too early. not that the music was necessarily bad, but i think that if you want to release a solid album with only 35 mins and 10 tracks, you need to have 10 really great tracks.
