That was me and it was literally the best moment of my entire life. I still haven’t recovered. I didn’t want to post about it here bc I was embarrassed about how I look, but since it’s here… Lana is seriously the best.

Yesterday, Lana Del Rey was spotted by a fan while out with her sister Chuck Grant in Los Angeles, California.

We just talked for a little bit, mostly about my trip to California. She was honestly the nicest. We hugged. I was extremely nervous and stuttery Thank you guys for the kind comments. It’s funny bc I usually straighten my hair, but I didn’t this morning and when I left my hotel I had a bad feeling about not doing it and not putting on make up and when I saw her I was like omg of course this is happening today when I look terrible lol

It hasn’t quite hit me properly yet that we’re actually going to be getting thunder on vinyl I can’t wait for this album

Not really... A Twink will probably get a copy a week and a half early. He'll post multiple pics on Twitter + some snippets on Instagram but say he won't leak anything out of respect for Lana (while constantly teasing for two or three more days until another twink gets another copy) then he'll attempt to leak it entirely so the focus remains on him, but he won't know how (cause twinks just get a vinyl or a casette and don't know how to rip them) So, a week later someone finally gets a CD copy and Twitter stans will go crazy about it, tweeting that it leaked but no one provides a link. LB go crazy as well, downloading many fake zip files or virus from dbree, finally realizing that the leak is LQ, making us wait until the New Zealand release (4 more days) for a HQ leak

I'm having flashbacks of when we used to call record stores and ask them for details on Lana's upcoming releases, if they had them already and what not and then we'd report back and try to complete the puzzle I hope BB doesn't leak though, just so the hype stays really strong, especially when we already know half the songs.

She actually once said she was having a creative block before writing Norman, so she listened some music by “an ex boyfriend”, who is definitely Barrie, to get some inspiration, so you’re right!

I keep thinking about how in an early 2019 interview in promotion of the Gucci Guilty campaign, Lana said that the two songs of hers that best represent her are Cruel World and Shades of Cool — and more specifically, what that says about songs from 2013 appearing on Blue Banisters. I have always loved Ultraviolence and have considered it a very important and favourite record for any true fan like the users on this site, and I feel like the events leading up to it being written are significant years down the line as Lana is recapturing her story with this album. I feel like the Ultraviolence — Blue Banisters pipeline (and in a more succinct, retrospective way, everything in between) is symbolic of Lana at her rawest and most existential. This is the songwriting that will see her legacy live on and on and on.

The production is brilliant. If she wants to bring back Zach, Gabe, and Dean for another album after LDR 9 (which I'm assuming is the Mike album) I wouldn't complain at all if it's in a similar vein to Text Book
