Well TAP won management of the year for a couple of years now. Ben and Ed seem to be the type of managers that ask their artist what career they want and make it happen. People are always blaming Ben for small promo of Lana music… but this is what she wants. Dua wanted to be bigger (or so I thought) and they made it happen. He is suggesting things to Lana rather than wanting to control her or impose his vision for something. Ok, he is rude to fans when he is pissed and really doesn’t like Lanaboards it seems , but as a manager, i always saw TAP as top notch.

I don't quite remember now but yeah stems (most were meant to be mastered) got spread to specific people and then eventually leaked (most of it through a .zip file on twitter saying "good girls don't do that type of stuff" those were the days ladies). I hate it when I see comments saying the reason the album leaked its because ''her fans'' did that like...? if we have the power to scam Atlantics producers so lets use that power to leak Keyboard Funk and the rest of the Mnek tracks like

tbh not 100% sure but he seems like a really great manager - gets amazing opportunities, brand deals, collabs, promo spots, always makes sure his artists have control of their work and can control their own artistic vision (which a lot of managers don’t prioritize) also, he’s hot

i hate to say it but i feel like the leaks gave her more of a discography to the public since all we had was just performances from 6-8 yrs ago and covers of other people songs the leaks showed her range to be honest

Suckers conception is actually her most hectic release: •originally planned to visit India to do an Indian inspired album and or songs. •The concept later shifted to Ye-Ye pop as she was obsessed with Bridget Bardot, Gainsbourg etc -see Lub me Lub me(Valentine), Light it up? •Later become a punk album recorded in anger after I love it-took only one month, most of which material was scrapped. •Then began a fusion between Pop and Punk where we see songs like London Queen, Break the rules etc. •Boom Clap come out and it was again changed-songs became a weird mish mash of Bubblegum pop and the Pop and punk concept.

I agree. I'm honestly over Cry Baby after nearly 8 years, and at this point I only have Soap and Sippy Cup on my playlist. K-12 never really had my attention to begin with. It felt underdone, and didn't have that "listen over and over" factor that Cry Baby had. I get that she was going for a cohesive sound, but the beats don't have the standout quality that the first album had. The lyrics took a tumble in quality too, and the album ended up as more of a soundtrack to the film than an actual standalone LP. It also seems like she got tired of her own act a couple of years ago, and has been wanting to move on but wasn't fully ready to or didn't know how. I think this is a great way to do it, keeping the character and having her "transform". We'll of course have to wait and see where she goes from here, but I'm almost sure it'll be a big refresher from where she's been for nearly a decade now.
