18 likesSooo beautiful! God Knows I Tried is my favourite song from Honeymoon, and she apparently told a fan she recently followed the other day that it’s one of her current favourites from the record as well along with the title track & TBD. I really hope the footage that Chuck appears to be filming is shared one day x (I also adjusted the title of this thread to be more complete)

13 likesI don’t even have words for how beautiful she sounds—honestly surprised she remembers it lol. It must be an intimate song for her. Her vocals are so polished and stunning, and I love the little trill she added. The fact they’re recording this raw is really a testament to her voice. She’s been serving such strong HM-LFL-NFR vibes lately….

"whats your xcx world tracklist?" is literally just another way of asking "what are your favorite unreleased songs" -

8 likesI’ve said it a million times, but I can just feel how good this record will be Lana singing God Knows I Tried in the UV church, her dancing to Summertime Sadness, no snippets, gay beach weddings, LFL-NFR-era looks, alleged magazine covers, etc…. I’m anticipating LDR9 (maybe even LDR10) to be that era: a busy pre-release thread, critical acclaim, tons of fun, overall good vibes. Manifesting

My first reaction when I heard she was dropping the album this year was “omg a new album this soon” but then I realized SAWAYAMA was released 2 years ago… wild -

7 likesTonight, Lana Del Rey dined with her sister Chuck Grant and her sister's boyfriend Jason Pickens at Da I Gemelli in Portofino, Italy. Beforehand, she went shopping again at Baccerini also in Portofino. While at Da I Gemelli, Lana posted to her Instagram a video of her dancing with a fan to Summertime Sadness while there. She also had a video taken of her singing Young & Beautiful at Baccerini. More photos: Videos:

oh jeez are we getting back to the "whats your xcx world tracklist? 😍" conversation? -
7 likesThe way Ultraviolence completely nailed Lana’s vision of “west coast fusion with underground jazz culture” — it’s so apparent and apt for every track, and sonically, it’s just so her. You can feel a perfect marriage of NY and California all over it. I can’t wait to hear how location presents itself on this next album

6 likesI feel similarly, and I think that’ll reflect well on LDR9 as it has in her past few records. In my opinion, Blue Banisters largely did address what Lana mentioned—albeit in an unexpected way. For example, Text book and WFWF addressed and clarified her criticisms of including themes of abuse and tumultuous relationships in her discography (in my opinion, at least). All of that being said, Antonoff did date Lena Dunham who was a huge source of controversy for a while. Then again, that’s more his personal life and not professional, and cultural attitudes have certainly shifted a bit since then. In short, I think Lana largely got her revenge with Blue Banisters, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s buried that need to justify herself in any wild, angry, or unusually controversial way on LDR9 or other future records…unless there’s some unheard tunes that haven’t surfaced yet

Well this really hurts… Britney has been dealt a really bad deck of cards in the game of life. Britney and Sam have revealed that they “lost their miracle baby early in the pregnancy.” https://www.instagram.com/p/CdjQLP6vzCW/ Less than a year ago, Britney revealed she has been wanting to have another baby but hasn’t been able to due to an IUD that her conservators wouldn’t let her have taken out. From what I remember, there have been interviews with her saying she wanted another child since the early 2010s. She finally became free from her conservatorship in November, and recently revealed she was pregnant. Now, this happens. So devastating. -

6 likesTo each their own. I'll take Ultraviolence's so called "messy" production over the flat/understated production of certain other albums any day, at least Ultraviolence had bite, oomph and an identity. We'll see how LDR9's sound turn out.

I had never listened to a Ethel Cain album until this morning and it’s very good! It’s dark and heavy stuff, on that one, but it’s very interesting. Even if the subject matter is far from light and fun, I really enjoyed it (much more than Florence’s Dance Fever, to be honest). -

Family Tree is a slow grower. I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but now it's so f*cking good.
