Someone who was there messaged me a little bit about their experience and said one of the waiters at the restaurant she was at told a friend while she was there and word travelled fast, so there were a bit of local fans waiting outside for her. The fan said she was super sweet to everyone, smiling and giggling as she spent around an hour talking to everyone. She’s so kind for doing that as she could’ve totally just denied to take any pictures/sign things and say she didn’t have time and had to leave, but I think this is a real testament to how much she cares for her fans. Not a lot of other celebrities would have done this. The fan there said that all the fans were really calm and respectful of her too, no one really freaking out, screaming, or hounding around her, which I’m sure made her more comfortable with the experience too. I imagine a screaming gaggle of teenage girls would’ve been a bit frightening lol. Also before she came out, a police man arrived to make sure nothing got out of hand which was awesome and he even exchanged numbers with her friend Cody in case they needed to be in touch during the rest of time they were there. She told the fans she was in the area to see some friends (then I went to seeeee some friends of mine… down in Florence, Alabama!) I’m sure Lana Del Rey randomly popping up in Florence will be the talk of the town for years to come lmao x Someone did ask why she reopened Honeymoon and she just giggled and said, “no reason!” Of course we know she has something bigger up her sleeve… x

I’m usually all gags on this site tbh but I wanted to add a more serious 2¢ life lesson that I hope people take with them. A good friend of mine opened up about her infertility struggles which turned out to be a literal life or death situation - I’ll skip the idiosyncratic details for ha privacy but we spent some time talking about the dangers of bringing up this kind of topic at all because you never know what kind of struggles someone is going thru. Maybe they want children but can’t have any, maybe they are simply waiting for the right time. But I’d encourage everyone to tread carefully when talking to (or about) anyone on this topic. The last thing we want to do is alienate or hurt someone inadvertently because we weren’t being mindful or felt the need to comment on appearances (which comes with a similar mindful responsibility!)

Still, comments being like “omg is she pregnant” happen way too often in pop culture whenever celebrity women gain weight, dress a certain way, etc and it’s always been so odd to see at least from my perspective. I swear Lana pregnancy speculations have happened every few months since like 2014 and it’s just weird to me. Let the pop girlies just birth out their albums xx

The Pie Factory is a pizza restaurant in Florence, but that’s not where she was last night. She was at a nearby restaurant though. Also, it seems Lana deleted the post because she was getting spammed with comments saying “don’t listen to Lana!” and then those people would reply to those comments saying “… without me 🤭” which I’m sure Lana didn’t see the second part. How incredibly stupid. I just know it’s the young tiktok stans that were apart of that. I hope they don’t continue to do stupid stuff like that, and that this doesn’t lead to Lana deactivating her account again. We’re so lucky to have her back, let’s be grateful and not stupid x

There’s too many factors to consider here AKA rerelease or unreleased album could be amazing.. but if they do it badly then it will be horrific tour; also amazing.. if she tours in your country and you can get tickets a new album will always be good.. I’m gonna give it my vote even though it sounds less exciting and not “big” considering she’s renown for having an album lined up after just releasing one

i find that interesting and perplexing as well, she didn't have any known live shows from december 2007, to june 2008, which is quite a large gap considering the fact that she performed pretty regularly in her early years otherwise, she was recording AKA in january and february of 2008, but that doesn't explain why she didn't perform for a few months afterwards, but i don't honestly think it's likely she was randomly living in alabama for just a few months, because we do have that photo of her in a wig that is now confirmed to be from february 2008 we also have photos that are said to be from may 2008 https://lanadelrey.fandom.com/wiki/2008/May?so=search who knows why she didn't perform for about six months, maybe she was busy with school, or maybe she was just recording a lot of stuff with david kahne, there was a point where we had no information of what she was up to during the first five months of 2008 and it was pretty weird, but now we have more pictures and more information about pictures we already had, thanks to those who take the time to figure this stuff out, and just new information being revealed over time
