47 likeslets sum up the evidence: - Lana said in november shes working on 2 albums - in insta video in january she said "tearing people down sometimes discourages people from moving on onto the next project, but thank god i already know what im doing, im not going anywhere" - in recent interview (probably taken in january) Ben said shes working on two albums and that she has a title in her mind - she tweeted a rock emoji in february - actually announced it in a whole new post with a cover art (unlike cocc) - tapmusic liked the post - she announced one day after cocc so she must be dying not to say anything about this for a long time - the article she shared was from january so theres a possibility she was planning this announcement since january

39 likesWhat I hope we'll get: - Zach Dawes as the producer - A more raw energy - Interesting instrumentals with e-guitars & well-arranged drums - Dealer - Good visuals - Release on June 1 2021 What I fear we'll get: - Jack Antonoff - a bunch of slow ballads - lifeless instrumentals - another terrible, low-effort Coverart - release on May 25 2022

30 likesWell, we know: - COCC was finished last summer. Around that time she already had Dealer and wasn't sure whether she'd put it on COCC or not. - In November, she tweeted she was currently working on two albums. - In January, she gave the Music Weekly interview that was published this month, where she already had an album title in mind that summed up "the last 18 months" (Rock Candy Sweet). Her managers confirmed she was working on two albums then, too, but we all found this out just a few days ago. - In January, after the Annie Mac interview, she said a few days after giving the Music Weekly interview that she already knew what she was doing next. - Last month, she and her brother both posted 'rock' emojis before deleting. - She announced the new album today. So as far as we know, it could have been in the works as early as Summer 2020, and will be released around a year later, but now only a few months after COCC. I'm not going to read into deleting the (messy) IG stories as long as the announcement post itself is still up. Tap Music liked the IG post, too, so they know about the album.

26 likesThe ‘Rock Candy Sweet’ insert on the selfie announcement has to have been planned before she used it yesterday there’s too much thought into it. That was a pre-planned logo she was waiting to use for announcing the album. The font was likely created along with the COTCC initial promo (the red font with the rose that was on her merch). It has the same vibes. Super fancy exaggerated font, with roses she’s been planning this it’s coming so soon

23 likesmy predictions - the album will be completely/largely produced by Zach Dawes - Dealer will be on here - "Grenadine Quarantine" and "If this is the end I want a boyfriend" were possibly made with Zach Dawes and could be on this record - the genres are mainly California Rock and Country Rock but it's still Lana's way - the title is inspired by "Rock Candy" by Montrose, a Californian hard rock band - other inspirations include The Rolling Stones, especially the record "Sticky Fingers" that includes songs like Brown Sugar and Wild Horses - we were given a taste of the Country Rock side of the record on the song "Dance Till We Die" - Breaking Up Slowly wasn't the last collaboration with Nikki Lane Edit: I think her brother Charlie will do a lot of the visuals for this album (interview mag video & beans vibes) insta thots?

Y'all are projecting way too much on Lana lmao. The accusation of Lana tokenizing her "non white friends" can easily be dismissed by saying that you are actually the one(s) tokenizing their presence in her life. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's also actually kinda worrisome to me that as soon as you see someone "non-white" around her it makes you think that the relationship here is phony? It says more about you and your vision of the world than it does about Lana's tbh. Anyway, can these little perfomative activists/virtue signalers and others just stop writing these inflamatory and ridiculous articles about her like? This doesn't do anything other than gaslighting Lana and some of her fans. They are seriously overestimating the influence they have here. Still can't believe this bitch accused Lana of overlooking the gentrification of New York in 'Brooklyn Baby' or that she culturally appropriated French braids... sis come on. Her reaction to Lana calling her out speaks volume to me, she loves the attention. -
22 likesimagine if she was trolling and expected us all to understand but after seeing us take it so seriously she’s rushing into the studio to actually make and release an album in 73 days to not piss us off again
