INFORMATION: - The leaked versions of A Million Men and Bones Are Blue are not EP finals, they are acoustic demos produced in 2013. - ALSO the new Rough Love leak is from 2013 and I believe that's the version which would be on 2013 EP, it's produced by John Feldmann. The older leak of that song is a rework from 2014 - Run studio was produced by Frequency, who Melanie worked with on Mad Hatter and Band-Aid. In the original file, Cry Baby is listed as the album tag so it was definitely on the album at some point - All My Loving is a Beatles cover which Melanie recorded and produced by herself on Garageband in 2012 - You Love I 02 was made after the version that leaked in 2015 (01), but Melanie ended up choosing 01 as the version she planned to release instead because she liked it better - The 'studio sessions' that surfaced in 2016 actually are not live recordings or studio sessions. They are all Garageband worktapes/demos made by Melanie. I really just can't believe that Melanie is STILL trying to do the movie for the album... and that the label is letting her. For an artist of her stature, the visual album route is what's needed. The film was a super fun one-time thing but yeah. Everyday is more potential for a new song from the album to leak, and if she or her label are smart, they will scrap the movie and rework them into music videos of varying length which will give Melanie the opportunity to release singles beforehand + take her time for each video post-release. I really doubt ANYONE would complain if that were to happen and it could honestly give us the BEST version of this era we could get (knowing how K-12 panned out.) It would mean she'd be able to put together a video within like a couple weeks, I'd say, and begin the era which will reduce the chances of major leaks that will spoil an entire film. I feel like Melanie will do singles anyways despite film or not

I feel more confident of her changing the album title and date to late august then I do of July 4th.

Chemtrails' aesthetic had a major focus on friends and family - and Blue Banisters is clearly gonna be all about her so it's gonna be interesting to see what she's gonna go for in terms of visuals (come through Nadia Lee ) I really wanna see her next to banisters or on a John Deere albeit make it glamorous. Those songs deserve an amazing cover idc but she could play with picsart for other shit but NOT the cover and I agree I know her ass is gonna play with different sounds for this album, considering the Amy Winehouse influenced bop hybrid "Text Book"

so just to sum up, she has a pop album that was basically done, it was in the process of mixing at the time of her death. this is really interesting! after it seemed like transnation was scrapped, i thought SOPHIE would move onto an edm album. we know she had tracks like do you wanna be alive and elegance that revolved around that sound. however, what ever gets released is up to her family and rightfully so. i guess we’ll see
