i just realized chemtrails came out 8 months after violet and now blue banisters is coming out 7 months after chemtrails meaning we should expect another lana album in 6 months

I know she’s already released 4 singles, but something happening tomorrow would be a nice treat to get us through the 22nd. this is such a dry pre-release, and 4 days (and counting ) of constant fake leaks is so tiring

Maybe i'm naive and/or delusional, but NFR/COCC and Blue Banisters so far sound completely different to me. She clearly wants to take her career down a more folky direction, and there's nothing wrong with that.

i think what's interesting about blue banisters is a lot of people trashed it for being so...journalistic and personal but out of all the songs that she released so far i think it sounds the freshest with a relisten. It's just so clear and also different than anything out there in the music world right now.

If Lana were creatively struggling then I would understand wanting her to take a break, but in my opinion she's consistently at the top of her game, so if she's ready to announce another album already then bring it on. I personally see plenty of creative risks and progression in her latest songs and don't find her sound getting repetitive at all.

The one previously leaked song I wish would have made it is Fine China. I love that song. Sounds like such a classic.
