I absolutely agree with @barttttender When were huge music gigs ever in time? I've been to countless shows, of all sizes and genres, and 80% of them were late. It's almost always technical issues. I saw Bjork last year who's a total professional with her work and she was still 20 minutes late, because her orchestra had issues. We don't know what happened with Lana's show. She won at the end because the Video Games acapella performance was rock n roll. It is proof that she is loved, respected and moves mountains. She's arguably the second/third biggest female singer in the world right now. She's a rockstar.

Praying for a great show tonight because we deserve it the sky fanbase is the most chill fanbase I’ve been a part of (probably because the impatient ones abandoned her years ago) we have accepted our fate and hope to be rewarded for our perseverance on this night and forever i wish I could be there to attend but I know you all will report back here with detailed set lists and 4k video recordings of Pretty Dull being performed as the encore to a full length, on-time, 16 song set 🤍🩵🤍

Yeah it's probably her fault, but we don't really know. She didn't commit a crime either. Maybe it's time to forgive.

For some reason I'll Be Home For Christmas slays me, and I don't even like Kacey Musgraves it's just the way Lana sings is utterly divine. And it's so evocative of the NFR era where she was randomly everywhere, in her little flat shoes just casually being social and critically-acclaimed

I came across this 5 star review and this part is so true: And this is one of the reasons why I think Ocean Blvd is her best-written song ever, with Mariners Apartment Complex coming for a close second spot. It's incredibly intense and detailed. The song is indeed about herself first and foremost; her insecurities, her fear of dying and getting old and having no legacy, not leaving a mark in this world (a child). She's trying to explain herself, and that is exactly what I wanted from her. Ocean Blvd is her "revenge album", not Blue Banisters. This song is just epic.

I don’t know what that says about me but Fingertips is perhaps one of the tracks I listen to the most. There’s just something unbelievably magical about driving or riding a bike listening to that song - it’s like a portal to a different dimension. It’s heavy and incredibly Mark Kozelek-like in its diaristic style which may not be the most replayable thing ever but the sheer imagery of both her vivid memories and of her wandering through a hazy, foggy forest contemplating about her past is just earth-shattering. It’s quite frankly one of the best things she’s ever done, in my opinion.

you do have a good point that what we consider to be paradise outtakes did have a different sound/theme, it did seem very 50s/60s inspired and seemed like a more straight-forward continuation of born to die, as opposed to the more cinematic, esoteric, religious feel of paradise we have, but i feel like maybe she could've just been recording a lot of stuff with a variety of different themes/sounds and ended up going with something more cinematic and esoteric, we've known about body electric since the summer of 2012, she even performed it more than once before the release of paradise, she also mentioned gods and monsters a few months before the release of paradise, and who knows how early on the demo of cola was recorded also, TV in black and white, hollywood's dead, and what's a girl to do are all from 2011 and are more likely to just be born to die outtakes, i don't think she revisited them for paradise
