Lana Del Rey has spoken about working on a country album with outlaw country artist Nikki Lane in recent interviews, and Nikki Lane has also confirmed this with her recent interview with Rolling Stone Country. Tonight, Lana Del Rey further confirmed this record at a live show with Nikki Lane. The two have released one of their duets "Breaking Up Slowly" on Lana's 7th album 'Chemtrails Over the Country Club' and there have been 4 other songs that have been written for the duo's upcoming album so far.

Well, if she's in Texas with Nikki Lane, she may have gone there to work on their country album. So, can this mean that the RCS is actually finished and ready to released in June? I want/need to believe that.

The way I'm listening to BUS on repeat so I force myself to see the appeal of her voice....but it's a hard thing to do.

this is the thing that’s sending me. we have: -country duet album w nikki -rock candy sweet -American classics and standards album -country/folk covers album -behind the iron gates it’s like are any of these the same thing? Are they all seperate? We will truly not know until time moves on and we get or don’t get these things, and it’s the not knowing whether or not any of these things will actually ever even see the light of day that makes it the most exhausting lol

I doubt it. I think she would've mentioned that RCS is a collaboration with Nikki Lane when she announced the album name and unrealistic release date. We know she's working on two albums since she mentioned it in a tweet last year, so I think RCS is one of them and this country album is the other.
