Some of the leaks in a zip file that has been shared here contains material from MB2, and as you all should know by now, sharing illegal download links to leaks of copyrighted content intended for commercial release is strictly prohibited. However, Madison's team also sent me takedown notices for posts with other leak links including demos and unreleased tracks, some posts of which date back to March. So please, from this point forward, do not share any form of a link to a Madison Beer leak in this thread or elsewhere on the site - yes, that includes unreleased, demos, etc. Anyone who does so will be have their account permanently banned. I love how in "Change" there's something in the wind and she sings about how she feels a positive change coming, and she doesn't know where or when, but she'll be ready for it when it arrives. And then in "Violets For Roses" there's something in the air and she sings about this personal awakening as both the world and her own self come back to life after a dark period. It's like that feeling she felt way back in Change is finally coming to fruition through self love and a rediscovery of happiness.

There's nothing wrong with wanting Lana to go a little upbeat again. You can both like some bops and appreciate her ballads. My favourite Lana albums are Honeymoon and Chemtrails/BB but I still miss some of the BTD and 2010-2012 unreleased energy.

This Monday I went drinking with 2 of my friends and in a students' bar they deadass played Blue Banisters and I started singing drunkenly in front of them and like 8 strangers. I sang it all until Dealer cuz they turned it off halfway through. It was the best night of my life

personally, i love the instrumental. even though it's simple it reminds me so much of mermaid motel type beat and a similar underground alt rock psychedelia vibe. plus i think the instrumental needs to be on the simpler side bc of the wildness of the vocals. it might have been overstimulating if there were more dynamic production elements on top of I DONT WANNAAAAA LIVVEEEEEE

What I love about both COCC and BB is that, overall, Lana sounds at peace with life and with herself, and, within that context, she doesn’t sound complacent or boring. It’s not a great many contemporary artists that can write songs about day to day life and living without those songs being dull, but on a lot of songs on both albums, Lana sounds serene and centered, and I find myself happy at this, and inspired too.

I'm sure it will leak one day. I never thought we would get Life is Beautiful and then we did.
