Hey y'all. After the Hail Mary clip we got today basically confirms Lana recorded backing vocals on G Easy "Pray for Me" I am curious what other songs we know of where she has a non-credited contribution, vocal or otherwise (like in writing credits, prod creds, etc.) I always feel like I know every Lana song and feature but these uncredited appearances are a lot harder to identify so I'm always finding new ones! Here's most of the ones I know of... For Abel and Borns has backing vocals throughout and jumps on the end for a little appearance. (obv this one now...) oh and- I think this is still disputed but some ppl were saying she has a backing vocal on Him & I because it was originally meant to be a Lana feature, not Halsey. You can hear the part that kind of sounds like her at 1:30

A theme for every era would be perfect but I know logistically that would be a pain in the ass to do… however, dead of winter means Ultraviolence for me so it’d be nice to have that theme, change it to LFL for spring, to Honeymoon from June to August, NFR for August and September, Chemtrails for October, Blue Banisters for November and December. Rinse and repeat, life is complete

i know the next album won’t be 1989 (it will most likely come right before rep or be the final re recording) because of the on going shake it off law suit. so it’s definitely speak now next, i just hope it’s not a while away!

I really like the iPhone reference, too, in Sweet Carolina (as well as the swearing, but that's maybe for a different reason). The song's vocals, production, and style (e.g., melody) could have been a hit in the 1920s-50s, so the lyrics date stamp the actual date of the release pretty specifically to the 21st century. Hence, future historians of ancient earth (who will hopefully be human) will not be confused about the song's release era, if they only have the song's style to work with. Also, date stamping the song by referencing a device that understands timestamps seems auto-recursively clever to me.

petition for a theme for every era the single bad thing about a possible aka theme is the impact font but i think the regular logo could just replace it and everything would be fine also petition for classic lanaboards theme (pre-lust for life theme)

Weird but Honeymoon (album) always reminds me of Xmas. When I was 13 I had just started listening to music and collecting CDs etc and I had received a Honeymoon CD for Xmas and Sgnt Peppers by The Beatles on vinyl. I listened to them religiously during the Xmas period so listening to Honeymoon surrounded by Christmas lights is a comforting experience

I actually don't mind the "iPhone 11 / Fuck you Kevin" line in Sweet Carolina. It's obviously just a cute little joke between her and Chuck and I find the delivery of it to be really sweet (you can tell that she's smiling as she sings it)

All of Chemtrails is very winter but especially Dark But Just a Game. Pawn Shop Blues just because obviously, Hit it & Run for no other reason other than it was the only song I listened to for the whole month of January a few years ago, Angels Forever gives me like a sunny winter day where the roads are wet and there is still a tiny bit of snow and the sun is reflecting on it, Live or Die because it reminds me of a movie I watched when I was little about these Christian kids getting trapped in a school because of a blizzard

i talk to jesus has christmas reference and it gives me “post-christmas” nostalgia vibes, but personally it reminds me more of may/june 2021 just because i was struggling at that time and this song helped me a lot and i think cherry blossom has some winter feelings too, i really love listening to this song when it’s snowing
