The trolls made some points! Her worst album, has no business being her nr1 user rated album! What we should be focusing on is how the gorgeous showstopping Born to Die is her lowest user rated album. Literally criminal. But at the end of the day metacritic really doesn't mean anything, because in what world are Blue Banisters and Lust for Life better albums than Ultraviolence and Born to Die? Not this one!

Blue Banisters doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It's a gorgeous album filled with moments of retrospection, thoughtfulness, healing and contentment. Lana showcased her range of emotion and versatility yet AGAIN and some people just can't stand it.

I’d love to see some haunting evil mermaid/sea nymph visuals from the Neil shoot. I came up with a few concepts which I thought would work well with the image Neil gave us: Since LDR likes to bring her friends into her art she could use them as models to create some kind of evil mermaid clan kind of aesthetic I thought it’d be fun to do a version just with her underwater and overlaying it as a double exposure kind of thing This next one is controversial but:

I don't think anybody is asking for a 2.0 of her albums. We are just saying we want something similar to "x" cause is the easiest way to describe it. Like when I say I want another Honeymoon I mean beautiful strings and calming dreamy production not a carbon copy of that album.

Wasn't there a hint back in the early days of DNC that it was more than three words? With the Neil Krug tease - he's her oldest collaborator and they've worked together for YEARS I mean it has to be her album - what if the title's something like Drowning In The Northern Currents? Something angry yet fatalistic...

Okay here are some of my thoughts 1. About the unreleased songs I actually don't mind ifshe put 1 or a few unreleased materials in LDR9 again but as long as they're 100% remake + remastered, i love Blue Banisters but the fact that NOTG / LL / CB werent even mastered, they're just Youtube rips really haunts me. For instance, if she's putting Yes to Heaven into the album, i prefer her to re-produce & fix some aspects of its lyrics - I am not a The Next Best American Record hater so i dont mind that. 2. As much as i want LDR9 to have her going back to her roots, cinematic, rock signature sounds like BTD/PE, UV, HM. I don't mind if she takes a whole different approach in sound direction - something isnt even alike to either BTD, UV, HM, L4L, NFR or COCC. Something completely fresh. Come to think of it: Lana is always the best when it comes to being UNPREDICTABLE. She is the queen of that, that's her thing. 3. >15 tracks. I don't think I can deal with another <15 tracks album from Lana. It's never enough (& i want another 10-minute serve) 4. I don't even care about visuals or MVs or whatever. I believe Lana has come to the point where she can be abstract as she pleases, she doesnt have to prove herself through visuals anymore.

Hi It seems there are a lot of trolls on Metacritic right now trying to tank all the top albums ratings. As Blue Banisters is at the #1 spot I thought I would mention it on here in case anyone wanted to go give it a 10/10 rating and help keep it there. The rating has gone from a 9.6 to a 9.3 so the trolls seem to be making an impact. Blue Banisters has Lana's best piano ballads. That album displays the very best piano work in her discography. It just adds so much in IYLDWM, Black Bathing Suit & Sweet Carolina; though Arcadia & Beautiful aren't my favourite songs of hers, the piano is equally exquisite. Ironically people call NFR her best work, but that album has the very worst piano work in her discography—the mixing quality and the intricacy of the melodies are just not it. Which is funny considering people are over the piano ballads.

Blue Banisters is an awkwardly put together & badly mixed compilation album with some ok songs, some very good songs (bbs you will always be famous) and some terrible songs. It literally had mastered youtube rips of unfinished songs, the bar was on the floor. Truly her worst.

If the album is really near completion she has to announce something soon. I guess they are waiting so the dates are closer (because of the vinyl process) but if September comes and goes without anything... On one hand I want everything to come and be announced close together in quick succession but at the same time I'm so thirsty I'd take an announcement now even if it's still a couple of months away Just give me a title or a picture Lana

It would be an iconic title, reminiscent of West Coast.

Wild One I Talk to Jesus Yes to Heaven, it’s time lol. I’d be happy with any of these 3. I don’t know. I don’t necessarily want an unreleased on the new album but she really has sooooo many unreleased that deserve to have their moments. She’s got to get that unreleased collection together!

last night, i dreamt of Lana doing a livestream on @honeymoon account, she was reading & answer almost every comment as possible, like literally focus on answering them, which is unusual a bit, and then someone asked about LDR9 title, she answered the title by accident and right after she knew she say it, she panicked & immidiately turn the livestream off & deactivated @honeymoon I forgot the title but its not something related to DNC, but it was too long & complex & English isnt my first language so its hard to remember what it was. But i knew the title was giving IELTS vocabulary

usually i hate guns and roses but i was listening to UV on shuffle yesterday and it actually didn’t sound that bad….. i want her to rediscover a soft rock sound such as that and I Talk to Jesus for this new album
