Its cute but personally I don’t want the cover to be black and white or too dark I’d prefer something vibrant and colorful, with a look similar to Lust for Life, Norman Fucking Rockwell!, or Honeymoon

I think the verses of Fishtail are the closest we have to a preview of what the album will feel like 
 

lyrical style that feels more focused on setting and atmosphere rather than complex ideas 

 

very quiet vocals with the mic pressed right on the lips, hearing each movement and little quirks while feeling muffled because of proximity and quite frankly going for style over quality 

 

which while we’re on the subject, the fact that she tries to emulate this at live shows is why her vocals seem so much weaker. when she ditches that style and just lets herself actually work the mic like it’s meant to in a live setting, it’s clear she’s as strong as ever. video games, Arcadia, Cherry, etc. 

 

anyways… im pretty confident we’ll have something by the second week of April. seems like she went on a journey with these songs and finally landed on something that felt right. I don’t think she would’ve specified 13 tracks if things were still up in the air.
