I love how subtle the atmosphere builds on the three singles we’ve heard so far; these few moments with their respective songs are some of my favorites: •“Old Man River keeps rollin’/With or without him.” •“Summer comes, winter goes/Spring I skip—God knows.” • “I’ve been running on star-drip IVs/For so long…” Her producers are honestly doing such a great job at letting her vocals and lyrics carry the tracks while also tacking on (for example) little hushes of ambient noise where it counts. I really hope we get a diverse range of soundscapes on this album, but I’m pretty satisfied with what we’ve seen so far!

Other than the fact that I like that Lana continuing the 1, 2 title track pattern.. I think Blue Banisters opening the record makes so much sense. In COCC, she closed the record with a cover about looking longingly at an artist who plays for free instead of fame. Transitioning into Blue Banisters would fit well considering it almost mourns the fact that her fame seems to have cost her a relationship, hence, “Most men don’t want a woman with a legacy.”

I think this point she should just call it ‘The 8th Studio Album by Lana Del Rey’. With Rock Candy sweet and Blue Banisters crossed out.

The only thing that has me believing that something could happen in July is the fact that her website is being modified; If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have the slightest hope.

Even if the album is delayed to September or whatever… would it be so bad? I know, it’s still another case of her dates not matching up, but even if the new album was postponed to, say, December (which I really really don’t think it will), it would still be the shortest we ever had to wait for another full album from her (9 months). Anything before that is incredibly short. I honestly would be much more shocked if July 4 really happened
