The snippet she shared was gorgeous! Her vocals sound amazing, and of course she looked so stunning. I always love her lil homemade videos, they're so intimate and personal, so I hope there's a full version she shares one day! & the cover.. oh my god. STUNNING!! I'm so, so happy. It's hard to say because Lana really does have so many iconic album covers, but this is definitely a contender for her best. Plus, there's dogs on the cover which is always a bonus. The cover photo kind of reminds me of these photos I took with my dog about 5 years ago. I love these photos of us! RIP Snickers, in my heart forever xx

The way she tells a story through her covers... she has been in a journey from BTD to NFR (as seen in the vehicles) and now she is just enjoying life with her family, friends and pets. The vehicles are a metaphor for confronting her fears and problems. BTD cover: outside the car - living an idle life, seeking escapism through a dangerous lifestyle, ignoring her problems UV: opens the car's door - gets ready to confront her fears and question many aspects of her life, kind of hits rock bottom in her mental stability Honeymoon: gets on the car - her most instropective record, she isolates herself from the rest of the world (seen in her being so tiny in the photograph and far from our point of view) to genuinely discover herself (another metaphor, she is in a truck for tourists) Lust For Life: gets out the car - she has learned many things about herself and overcome some problems, as seen in the smile NFR: gets on a boat with a man - now that she has overcome her problems, she is ready to invite other people into her life, seen in the man by her side and her inviting hand. She's still on a journey but a different one Chemtrails and Blue Banisters: she realizes how important her family and friends (including her pets) are for her, they are her support system (her banisters) [This is just a joke, although I agree on some points, but yeah just a reach for fun )

In response to those saying the banisters in the photo should be blue— They shouldn’t be. In the song, the man she met never fulfilled his promises. He never came back every May, fixed her weather vane, gave her children, took away her pain, or helped her paint her banisters blue.

Maybe the “TBD” caption under the cover picture is her saying that the album’s name might change (like BOZ says it has) because I really hope she won’t change the album cover picture.

I was literally singing 'My body is a map of LA, I stand straight like an angel, with a halo' and then out of nowhere I continued 'I've had it up to here with the fighting, baby, we're not fooling anyone these days' I AM NOT JOKING I like this better than Afraid though, excited to hear the build up of the snippet

Ugh I just cannot get over this album cover. It feels so luxurious with that cream border, the black lining of the photo, and the serif font. And the image itself is striking - there's a warmth to it with Lana's effortless beauty and the colouring, suggesting something very reflective, soft, and familiar. But there's also a bit of an edge with Tex and Mex. They almost look like guard dogs, acting as defence for Lana - which suggests a slightly more aggressive and self-protective side to the album as well! She really is going to deliver (as she always does) and this cover is just so brilliant. I love all her album covers and I was totally here for the selfie cover, but this is just next-level. Super grateful and happy we got to see it today!

It’s obviously way too soon to tell, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Blue Banisters competes with NFR! as far as critical acclaim goes. I’m really anticipating the record to be her most mature work to date, but I could see it being divisive among her casual fans because it may not be packed with “bangers.” We’ll see!

I know this is a reach but Ben said 2 albums this year (I know the other one is 99% Chemtrails) but he put a Thunder emoji in the caption and boz also teased Cherry Blossom while saying they need to make another thread..... so.... what if she is indeed releasing 2 albums (not counting Chemtrails) with the other one being the Unreleased Collection with Thunder and Cherry Blossom

Blue Banisters really sounds like a closer to me. I can’t picture it as anything else than the final track on the album. She had moved out of the black and into the blue in Get Free, and she’ll be moving out of the blue and into the green and gray at the end of this new record
