That this whole IG thing tonight makes me kinda sad tbh bc it shows once again how sensitive she is (even when she doesn't wanna care and just wants to be off in the world doing her own thing in peace), and it's both relatable af and heartbreaking I hope one day she truly won't give a fuck about what lies the media/attention seekers are spewing and can truly be away and free from it all ya know. I love that she’s pushing the title track. Easily the least commercial song she’s ever released, but probably the most important song to the album. A lot of the “too cool” indie dorks on other forums were saying the song reminds them of modern day Nick Cave, and his more ambient-leaning music. Oddly enough, I think they’re right, and I think a lot of people new to her music might be really moved by this song.

Yall have a really, really fucking loose definition of doxxing. Look what it means up before you start saying that’s what she’s doing — she’s not. And before you say “ThEn WhAt Is ShE dOiNg!?!?!?!” She’s literally reposting the person who said false info about her and calling them out. If they didn’t wanna be reposted by her and didn’t wanna cause drama and bullshit, they shouldn’t have started shit in the first place. Good for her. I know people who have been doxxed by people with malicious intent and had to go to court for it. This doesn’t fit the legal definition. The person she’s reposting has posted publicly to social media, which makes it free range. She’s not telling anyone to go attack him, but she knows if everyone saw his post and thought what he said was true, they’d all be attacking her yet again. She can’t catch a break with yall, for fuck sake. Just leave her alone if you’re gonna start bullshit. It’s sad as fuck that she has to go and denounce claims made about her when she’s trying to take a short sabbatical from social media, meanwhile, she hears something and has to get involved because it’s defamation not only of her but also her business. Also, she’s not putting anyone’s phone number or address out there. One last thing, this story is 100% bullshit because Target will not allow their systems to sell you something before it’s street date. I’ve tried it with video games, I tried it with Honeymoon when it actually was on Target shelves like a week early and they took the item from me and didn’t let me pay for it.

The person who made up the Target drama just posted to their story — “it started as a joke it was not supposed to get out my spam page enough”. Wow. The culture really is sick if that’s people’s idea of a joke.

Blue Banisters getting a video as it should And it literally matches the song and album cover, she's a genius. However, if I don't see Jenny and Nikki Lane nosediving into a pool, I will be disappointed

The way she's actually being vintage by making modern references because "vintage" kids will listen to it 50 years down the line and see them as old references I understand her vision and I love it

The fact you guys are putting Blue Banisters so low on the ranks is all the proof I need that this album is gonna light my ass on fire. I don't know what everyone else is smoking, but BB is some of the best songwriting she's ever done, and marks a change in how she's perceiving herself as an artist and lover. Like seriously, I can't believe it's nowhere near the top of so many lists, and I can't help but wonder if its simply because it doesn't bop? Is it because it leans heavy into the singer/songwriter and poetry prose? Illuminate me why the lyrics are bad, please, because I'm so so confused.

The more I listen the more I am expecting rave reviews. I don't see how critics could possibly not love this album, it is such a great project, and with her leaving social media and keeping a low profile lately, they really don't have much to come at her for other than the music, and they'll just look stupid if they try and focus on old controversies.

When Friday comes and the streaming version is a totally different album

I don't think Chemtrails broke that stride. The actual reviews for the album were excellent, her second best after NFR. Sadly (and unfairly) QFTC ended the highs that came with NFR, and then the mesh mask and other controversies only furthered that, so by the time Chemtrails and the three singles came out, the press was afraid to write about Lana. I think without any of the drama, the positive attention she was getting around NFR would have only continued to build, but unfortunately people were quick to forget that they briefly loved her and instead returned to thriving on drama and writing unfair takes about her that lacked nuance. I sincerely hope that all that is far enough away that people will return to the music, because as we know, no one does it better than Lana and it's about damn time that the industry properly recognizes that. If not, well then so be it, millions of people know how incredible she is, and her legacy will last forever.

That "poor kid" had no issues trying to defame her. He's on social media and has no right to privacy with public profiles.
