Flashing back to 1989, when the Grammas awarded the first ever 'Best Hard Rock album' to Jethro Tull, when not only are JT not hard rock, by 1989 they were completely irrelevant (I'd be surprised if even Tull fans could name the record they won with), and snubbed the biggest hard rock band in the world then, Metallica. My point - they've always missed the point, and they will give her a lifetime achievement award in 2042 and claim they were always behind her.

I don’t really care about the Grammys but the reason I want her to win, cause’ losing will definitely bring her down, this past year she’s been so active, released so many songs, did a lot of interviews/photoshoots, and toured a lot, she was so happy she got nominated and took a video thanking them, I don’t want the Grammy’s “unfairness” to stop her from being passionate & happy about her career so I’m hoping for at least 2 wins

she went to a Grammys class for students or something and even did the small little concert at the Grammys before / during NFR era... so the fact that she didn't get any recognition after that really really irks me... I know she probably would LOVE a grammy because it is an "acceptance" in the industry by the musical peers, but I just feel so strongly that the Grammys are so corrupt and there is so many times the Grammys have never paid attention to BEYOND deserving artists, and go in favor of something that was a radio hit.... so I will be beyond happy if she wins, because it is LONG LONG LONG LONG OVEER DUE for miss LANA DEL REY to win a grammy.

FUCKING HELL. I just had the most vivid dream and my jaw is still dropped. In this dream, I had just gotten home when I checked my phone and saw Lana posted on IG. I check it and it was a reel, some sort of BTS video with new music and the caption said something about creating something special for us, releasing very soon. It was very similar to an album trailer. After scrolling down her feed, it was full of screencaps of a new video and each photo had a caption of a timestamp next to a name of one of her past songs. I was confused, after I checked her YouTube page... She had just released a new fucking song and it was around 15 minutes long. I think it was a short film. She looked fantastic, the video was very ethereal, it featured scenes of her dancing in her underwear and then people attending a funeral, her siblings hanging out, etc, which was very odd lol That's when I realized what the timestamps meant... She sampled some of her most popular songs throughout the new song (only small lines, like a cute throwback) I don't remember much about the song, except for it being produced by Jack and it had the line "I wear my days blue". It sounded similar to Let the Light In and A&W. Very folk, bu moody and dark as hell. Then checking LB... Only two threads were made cause apparently the site went down Some people here were discussing how good the song was, because she was addressing most of her past controversies as a huge "fuck you" at the critics and fake fans, it was very catty and sassy. Others complained because Lana had only released the film without the name of the single, (I think the title was something like "LANA DEL REY - SHORT FILM") nor the release date for the song or the album... Just the film with a titleless song

I know the Grammys love to embarrass themselves, but A&W not winning song of the year would just be absurd.

also interesting because Lucy Dacus, one of the members of ‘Boy Genius’ opened for lana and even sang Night Shift on stage with lana during the 2019 era …. and i’m pretty certain Lucy unfollowed Lana when it was popular to cancel her so that’s unfortunate But i’m curious if they will interact at all on the red carpet or awards show

I think this is honestly the best year for Lana to be nominated for this many Grammys. A lot of the music released in 2023 was mediocre in comparison to Lana’s work on Ocean Blvd and especially A&W. Just have to hope the Academy recognizes her talent and impact this year, which I believe they will.

I think that the post on 360_brat may be about the album. Several months ago she said in an interview that while making the album she was pushing herself to share uncomfortable stories. Now that the album (and possibly the tracklist) is finished there may be some of the uncomfortable stories which she eventually does not feel like sharing (cause they possibly are too personal?). Ngl as much a I want as much material as possible, I want her to do what she is comfortable with

I actually like Nikki but her and Lana don’t go well together in my opinion. Their voices don’t match, like Father John Misty and Lana feel like they’re musical soulmates. Nikki and Lana just don’t collab well together

I got the heart long sleeve top.. and matching pants! They’re so soft, sleeves are a bit long which is unusual but looks fine! It’s definitely a bit see through also, but not bad when it’s pjs! Not as cropped as the photo online or the description made it out to be, the way it looks on Lana is how it is! I’m big chested and usually cropped things end up coming up shorter on me and I didn’t find it that bad!

I do enjoy Lana sleuthing but one of the things I love about her is you can almost never expect what she’ll do next. I try not to have expectations with anything, but I love when she randomly drops surprises
