Based on regression analysis looking at previous promised vs. actual release dates of Lana albums (UV -> NFR, excluding HM which was never given an incorrect release date), the most likely release date for Blue Banisters/LDR8 is October 22-29, 2021. The earliest possible date would have been August 16th, and the latest possible date is January 14th, 2022. Just something to keep in mind while we wait

ppl don't think that but i *think* a lot of people are seeing that his collaborative efforts don't offer artists much these days and that post-NFR, his production seems to be increasingly... formulaic Edit: i want to add that it's rly kind of alarming how so many artists' music (lana, lorde, etc) are starting to sound similar to each other, when originally they were very distinct. i really feel like it is such a disservice to these individual artists tbh. the music industry and press etc is already *so complex* to navigate, like the risk of being thrown into really narrow misogynist categories such as "sad girl" for sometimes singing abt harsh realities lol (let alone when the production that now accompanies really introspective lyrics all sounds so similar). like jack def needs to just get some integrity and be a responsible collaborator if he's going to market himself as one, and offer something more inspired to the artists he works with

if it's "mainstream" country, absolutely not, if it's "classic" country, like patsy cline, nancy sinatra, etc. or with blues/desert rock influence, absolutely!

did a little album concept based on all the og pictures we got from k-12. i think the chalkboard picture works 1000x better as a cover, i just don't see the floating head one as a good option so i used it for the inside of the cd. the result looks kinda cute, i think i prefer this then the screencaptures from the movie we got in the actual booklet. what do you guys think?

oh I was just gonna add a note that ever since UV, her delays have been getting larger (43 days -> 56 days -> 154 days -> 195 days), so based on an analysis of THAT trend's growth, we could be looking at anywhere between a 210 to 295 day gap between July 4th and album drop--which might put us into Spring 2022! We'll finally be getting a spring LDR album again for the first time since UV!!!

Imagine if she shared a snippet of something that sounded like Serene Queen …hype would jump through the roof. Fans were excited when Lana stated she ‘wanted revenge’ that conjured up images of fast paced songs, with fire and shouty angry music (dealer). Now it’s just all gone limp, whilst her ballads are beautiful it’s become stale and I’m sad to say predictable.
