One account has 20 million followers and gets attention from the press. The other account has 200 thousand followers and most people don't know it exists. She wanted to leave social media and make her circle smaller because it's toxic, but she obviously enjoys social media and sharing things, so she decided that occasional updates on the Honeymoon account was a safer alternative. To the general public, she has left social media because the Honeymoon account is still relatively unknown and private. It's really not that complicated. -

She posted a clip of the new video on Honeymoon with the caption: “Shining alone👌🌟 I’ve always loved a video with no real story line. The things that people do naturally without even thinking about it have always been the most interesting moments to capture. I loved shooting Arcadia and blue Banisters without having a concept and just having my brother and Chris filming me dancing chilling, drinking coffee being stupid, having fun. It’s the little things. I always say I do the least promotion of anyone I know but the most work in my backyard. When your inner world flourishes- at some point the outer world will always reflect that back to you what’s really in your heart. Do what you love, I think some of the wisest people have taught me that sometimes doing nothing and just listening to your inner voice which at it’s clearest is as near to what God’s voice would advise is the best thing to do. Dreaming, staying peaceful, being a good friend, a good mother to animals and friends, making big changes, taking risks that no one else understands, all of this has helped me to continue to follow my true life’s dharma. It can be a winding and lonely road at times- full of adversity- but it’s so worth it. All my Love L/E” -

21 likesThese posts remind me of a conversation I had with a friend after NFR came out. They really liked the record and I said something like, “wow, that’s great, you should definitely check out some of Lana’s other albums, like Ultraviolence and Honeymoon!” And they had the audacity to look me in the eye and say , “no thanks, those albums are too Lana, like they’re too melodramatic for me.” I was quite perturbed by that comment and can vouch for what everyone is saying about the general public being more receptive to a record that veers away from what they typically associate with Lana (hence, my friend using ‘Lana’ as a descriptor in and of itself). While I love NFR and think it’s an amazing record, people’s dismissal of her other 7 records is exactly my issue with the culture. Beating a dead horse, I know — but the entire point of Question for the Culture was valid, and is applicable to any woman (and I guess a bit further, any person) existing in any space, professional or not (I can attest to this personally).

That caption is the reason I’ve been here the last 10 years. Love her and what she stands for. Keep on keeping on! -
21 likesToday was such windy, kinda stormy autumn day & I went on a walk & listened to this album. It was perfect, the beautiful autumn landscape, the grey sky with the sun glooming through & the wind on my face , coloured leaves flying around & this beautiful new music Truly experienced the album in a new way today & it was phenomal like I felt I was in a dramatic movie during BBS I started dancing, swirling around with my coat & pretended I had long hair that flies beautifully in the windI hope no one saw me haha

Lana signing off of her post with L/E is so sweet. This album to me feels like Lana at the core, and I think this further signifies that. I've always understood and agreed with Lana's sentiment that Lana and Lizzy/Elizabeth are the same person and I think this album truly does show that. I don't know - just thought it was cute that she did that -
19 likesI really like the video, I love that she looks like she's having fun 1 minute and the next she has this face full of sadness. I've been there before when you're trying to get over a break up/heartbreak and your friends are trying to cheer you up, so they take you to do some activities and you're having fun, but then you get this sudden realization or awareness and for a second you remember how sad you are, but then you snap back into it and start smiling because you don't want anyone to notice how broken/sad you are.

19 likesI think Thunder is related to Blue Banisters in a way. We see heat lightning at the end of the video (and she also talks about it in the lyrics), where lightning is so far away that you cannot hear the thunder. So that man is so far away yet he or his remainders are still right there. So let's manifest Thunder MV next
