She’s back in Portofino and called it “home”! The last time Lana was in LA, NYC, and Portofino back-to-back was during the making of Honeymoon!

Tonight, Lana Del Rey dined with her sister Chuck Grant and her sister's boyfriend Jason Pickens at Da I Gemelli in Portofino, Italy. Beforehand, she went shopping again at Baccerini also in Portofino. While at Da I Gemelli, Lana posted to her Instagram a video of her dancing with a fan to Summertime Sadness while there. He was right about her working with a mix of producers for ldr9...right now we can safely say Jack, Dean are on it. Maybe even Mike... Also the FJM collab, Euphoria song way in advance. It's ethereal and witchy and different, I love it. The flow is so good too. Highlights for me: Family Tree American Teenager Western Nights Gibson Girl (incredible lyrics) Televangelism Sun Bleached Flies Strangers I'm so glad I went in almost blind. She's gonna be huge period

Honestly the Masochism development is such a mess, no wonder it take so much time to finish it. First she said it would be darker and heavier than NTMT Then she said it was going to be heavily 80s inspired with amazing power ballads And then she came with the electronic/witch house album Suddenly the album have lots of stings and orchestral shit Now she just is going with the vibe And the producer team is also kinda amazing, we have Jorge, Ariel Reichstach, Dan Nigro, but Mike Dean and Ariel Pink also worked with Sky (but r probably scrapped) like ??????? Girl what are you doing with this album?????

Her most cohesive and fully-realized album along with HBHBHB. She did it again, and I feel that a lot of these songs will continue to grow.
