I honestly don't think a single was planned for last month in the first place. We're probably not getting anything until the end of the year at the earliest, but next year is a lot more realistic

In memory of @EARTHA we could focus on 14th october now. She was firmly convinced of this date.

I've only found a single tweet regarding her performance, she came 45 minutes late on stage and performed 3 songs.

How can she say "time slipped away" WHAT could you be doing... She should be literally 15 mins early side stage and getting on as soon as they say go... Her live run this year has been appalling. There's no other word. I'm glad that everyone enjoys what little she plays of her set, the grace of having the best material to work with but please, enough of this.

I love this thread just for the fact that's so interesting to me how different taste can be between people I'm sure there are users here that hate OTTR for example and that's wild but fascinating

What happened??? Like, there was no show, nobody said a single thing, no stories, nothing, it seems like the concert never happened

I really cannot stand the tempo changes in Text Book. It changes going into the chorus, then it changes again when she sings "There we were! Screaming BLACK LIVES MATTERRR" It's not seamless at all, you can pinpoint exactly where it's been slowed down by Mike (?) who, whilst we're on the subject of unpopular opinions, did nothing for that album or for Lana. And when he was like, "oh, but that's what she wanted!" I really doubt she said, "I want you to deliberately fuck with the tempo of this song so that it sounds like some 12 year old playing around in Garage Band"

This is so cool! Such a fun idea and I think it's great that community work is going to be recognized like this. There are so many incredible artists on this site, looking forward to seeing what gets chosen

After a very dry summer, it's been almost all rain here since Lana unveiled the umbrella snippet. She did witchery with it!

I have to entirely ignore the chorus of Textbook to like it. And its not only the lyrics, its the vibe too. I find it very weak for Lana. But I really do love the verses, especially the second one. Its weird because thats the opposite of how i feel for several NFR songs like the title track, Love Song and California where i love the chorus but dont like the verses. And when some of yall here try to compare it to West Coasts tempo change WC is the cultural reset TB will never be.

I want her to ad-lib more in this album and use them as a background vocal too, we all know she can use her angelic ad-libs with diverse style for instance the outro of million dollar man or lust for life(demo version)
