So…no flowers in the new Weyes video… speaking of Weyes, it was about her album announcement he said « See you in September » and on Sept 16, « It’s Not Just Me It’s Everybody » was released. Now it’s a flower pic, with the 😏 and ⏰ emojis…

Honestly it was kinda iconic of her to release a simple ballad when all the eyes and ears were on her after her most acclaimed album (I really love that song tho, that bridge alone makes the song great). She knew she had a lot of pressure and said fuck it I'm releasing my favorite cute little song first. Now back to LDR9... IT'S HAPPENING Neil teased Weyes album less than a month before she announced the whole thing and the lead single so I guess early November maybe?

Not acknowledging the 10th anniversary was one of the most disrespectful things she’s done, even if she hated the album she should have said something at the minimum. People have bought and supported BTD all this time it’s a special album for many of her fans and still on the chart to this day. She should have done a re-release no doubt about it, Ben fell asleep again on this one. Her mind and behaviour baffles me sometimes.

majority of CRASH aged beautifully! she delivered an A+ album and era, i couldn't be more satisfied as a fan tv performances, tour with beatiful scenography and dancers, amazing vinyl pressings and other cool merch, music itself!!!! there were definitely some limitations with the budget here and there (which was still satisfactory imo) but everything turned out perfectly i'm really really proud of her

It's nuts that this mega-event is happening right now. I think it has set the stage for LDR9 to be a colossal critical and commercial success. The label will invest much bigger in promo. The critics are fiending for her. TikTok is perched for every syllable that comes out of her mouth. And there are suddenly zillions of new fans who just heard her name for the first time a week ago. Prepare for greatness on every level

Tbh I think a new single is right around the corner. Given Interscope's advert...her current streaming numbers. It makes perfect logical sense. She is going to announce it along with BTD-P 10 year anniversary

It's so awkard to see the whole promo blitz they arranged. All these magazines and interviews (saying the same thing over and over again; music video being finished, album coming this year) were probably done all at same time, with some type of schedule for Summer promo and album probably coming in late fall\early winter. And then nothing happened... again. I can just imagine the chaos that runs across Capitol whenever "Sky Ferreira" is mentioned. At this point it's pretty clear that it is something personal between them and she's trapped. And of course she probably has her own blame around it, but no way the label is a saint. I can only imagine it takes so long to get things moving that she gets cold feet and keeps re-starting her process and trying other stuff without finishing and releasing the old ones. No way "Masochism" is the same album she envisioned back in 2014, and I'm just surprised we didn't go through 3 name changes already.

Blackout has been released in Dolby Atmos / Spatial Audio on Apple Music! I usually have Dolby Atmos/Spatial Audio turned off 95% of the time because I find it gimmicky and worse sounding than lossless, but I’m currently listening to this, and it’s truly amazing for a lifelong Britney fan. It’s really a whole new way to experience the album and is making me fall in love with it all over again. I still think lossless sounds better and more polished, but this almost feels like experiencing the album live. I’m hearing things I’ve never heard before and this is coming from someone who’s listened to Blackout *literally* hundreds of times. Happy 15th birthday, Blackout!

lana's a little old fashioned so i do not think what is common now is of any relevance. lana would probably prefer to wait instead of cashing in on it as soon as possible. it would be much more exciting for us to get a special edition with demos & outtakes further down the line anyway. plus born to die has already had plenty of random vinyl rerelases so lana probably sees no reason to rush another especially since she knows fans have most of the demos already as it is whether she likes it or not.

All I gotta say is that if this bitch scraps the good stuff it's over for her, if she's smart she will keep it
