57 likesI just want to say that after listening to the new single, I am 100% convinced that this will be her best album. I was already feeling that way after hearing the first single, seeing the imagery, and reading the titles & insider info, but now I have absolutely no doubt. This is it. We've known that Lana has always been a genius when it comes to her lyrics and melodies, but I feel her vision is stronger than ever. I've said it before, but I just know this record will contain some of her rawest, most personal writing mixed with brilliant creative sonic patterns we've never seen from her before. The past two singles prove it already. I am sort of at a loss for more words at the moment as I'm so overwhelmed, so all I can say is that I'm so proud of her and I can't wait to hear the rest of the record. The two singles have floored me enough already, I'm going to be in absolute shambles come release day x

45 likesOMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!! I am fucking speechless, this is obviously one of her best songs of all time, an absolute artistic triumph. It's so wild that the insiders really spoiled nothing because this is such an incredible ride that nothing could really take away from it. A David Lynch horror film as a folk/pop masterpiece. Lana really isn't just making music at this point, she's an artist like no other ever imo. The first half is so completely insane and that final verse before the change is the most revealing and brutal she's ever written, and then the production literally sounds like some kind of frightening rewind to the past, where we end up in this unsettling trap loop that somehow further explains the questions that she's asking in the first half. She's been wondering how she ended up in this place in life, whether she likes or if it's just who she is, and then this jump back to her Lizzy Grant / teenage self shows that she's been like this for a very long time. Dark, unique, thought-provoking, A MASTERPIECE!!!!!!!

35 likesThe reception for A&W is so overwhelmingly positive and I 100% agree. It’s a beautiful song and the fact that Lana is outdoing herself over a decade into her career is actually insane. She deserves her flowers. That being said, I think Lana and Jack Antonoff bring the best out of each other. A lot of people like to shit on him for Solar Power / Midnights / etc. but no one else is making songs like White Dress, The Greatest, Mariners Apartment Complex, A&W, etc. I’m so happy for her and cannot wait to experience the rest of the album with y’all

32 likes“I know this is fucked up, but I’ve changed the title. It’s going to now be called, ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd Pearl Watch Me on Ring a Bell Psycho Lifeguard.’” He was like, “What the fuck?” I was like, “I’m not telling anyone. Just mock it up.” He mocked it up, but we realized that maybe it was a bit much to have six titles in one. LOL I CANT WITH HER

28 likesDEL REY: Right. I think that also, people are being a lot more careful with what they say. I remember my first big interview with Rolling Stone for Ultraviolence. He asked me about the song “Sad Girl.” Where it goes: [sings] “I’m a sad girl, I’m a sad girl, I’m a sad girl.” He said, “At 29, don’t you feel uncomfortable calling yourself a girl?” I was like, “You mean instead of?” And he said, “Well, a woman. I mean, you’re like 30.” I was really caught off guard because I wanted to talk about how I mixed my own album with this guy Robert Orton. Then, I said, “Well, what about that Jennifer Lopez song [‘Girls’] or the Beyoncé song ‘Girls Run the World’? I think she’s older than me.” And he was like, “That’s different. That’s a fun song.” I don’t feel like those kinds of questions get asked anymore. For me, it was trial by fire. It’s definitely a different era now. rolling stone when i catch you

27 likesI mean, look at my hair Look at the length of it there and the shape of my body If I told you that I was raped Do you really think that anybody would think I didn't ask for it, didn't ask for it? Didn't testify, already fucked up my story Top of this (Mm), so many other things you can't believe Did you know a singer can still be looking like a side piece at thirty-three? God's a charlatan, don't look at me Puts the shower on while he calls me Seems like a bad time to talk to me I'm invisible, look how you hold me I'm invisible, I'm invisible I'm a ghost now, look how you hold me now The fact that she outdid WW with this one. This is so fucking brutal.
