As far as I know, below is all the ATRL insider has said: February: they stated Lana had recently recorded a song with Quavo and it may make the cut to be on Lasso Last week: they revealed the title of the collab is Tough (a couple days before Quavo posted on his story with the caption "Tough!🦋"); is country/trap/laced with Lana vibes. They also posted some lyrics but I can't remember them right now. I think they also said the song is around the 3 min mark?

They def can edit a music video in a week, it depends on the production it has. For example, Chemtrails’ MV couldn’t be edited in a week bc the editing they chose couldn’t be done in a week since it wasn’t that simple, but if this MV is more on the simplistic side, it def can. But I do agree, I think Quavo meant next month, a mid-June is a more realistic date (maybe early June, if Quavo has any say in it).

When Doin Time came out, we initially thought it was just for the Sublime documentary - it was then tacked onto NFR and kind of became the album’s most commercial song. I’m wondering if that’s the case here. Lasso was done, and then by happenstance, she linked up with Quavo and they made the song. So, like Doin Time, perhaps the song just kind of came out of nowhere and she felt it could go on the album.
