Tonight I had a very public freakout at the local Applebee’s because Lana liked my Instagram video I posted yesterday from my birthday party 😭 I literally had no idea that she had even liked it & didn’t find out until my friend DM’d me about it. I love her so so much this is honestly the best birthday gift anyone has ever given me x

Do you think she'll use the LDR account (or make HM public) for this album's cycle announcements and such? She said she went private for safety reasons but it didn't help... so maybe she can use her official accounts for promo but have Ben manage them and only post announcements and all that stuff. I know she doesn't care about it but how are people going to know when she's releasing if she only posts it on her private account? I hope Interscope is booking huge billboards everywhere as we speak to start the teasing

Thinking about how artists release albums with short, snappy songs that contain lines specifically to appeal to Tik Tok trends and how Lana contrastingly doubles down on her automatic processes of long-form writing to create wordy albums that are ultra niche and specific to her life….always standing out in the best way possible. Love her and so excited for more of this

Does that mean we’re getting a Loneliest Time B-Sides, like with Emotion and Dedicated before it? I’ll say that I opened up the folder of the songs and started listening again with that question in mind. You know what? I think the verdict is out still.

i think Lana is enjoying leaning back into what things were like before she blew up, by being able to go to Nikki Lane’s much more stripped back / quieter shows kind of reminding her of her times singing in bars and stuff plus I get the vibe that Lana probably feels comfort in having someone as a friend who’s also a performer but isn’t out for fame, just living life etc etc

IDGAF. Bejeweled is so infectious. I am starting to really love this album, it’s growing and feels more complete the more I listen to it - rather than the initial collection of random songs that I felt it was at first. Not really a fan of Vigilante Shit but I love the majority of the others and like the rest. Off the midnights topic but on the taylor topic… Style is one of the only songs to give me goosebumps. The descent in the instrumental to that first chorus is actual pop music history
