Research has shown that Sweet fans are the most oppressed and socially isolated demographic on Lanaboards, and the most likely to suffer from major depression and comorbidities such as fibromyalgia, schizophrenia and iron deficiency.

With Kintsugi & Fingertips, as Lana says, “If you get it you get it”. Either it connects to something inside of you or it doesn’t. Specifically Kintsugi is so special to me, as someone who has lost many loved ones in recent years, especially the one who was the most important person in the world to me. I’ve had that experience of being by their bedside during their last breathes, it’s beautiful and sad and will never leave you. Kintsugi feels like a warm hug from Lana, her honoring that experience, and her telling the listener how she moved through it and came out better after it.

I bet there will be a 3rd restock.... she's sold like at least 9k in the US alone now.... Interscope has no reason to keep this "limited" if they see how much of a cash cow this is

As if the Kintsugi - Fingertips run having the lowest streams from the album means anything regarding their quality When I'm going to work or biking I obviously won't listen to those as they're quiet and lyric-centric. I'd rather play Let the Light In or the title track. When I'm on my bed with my boyfriend at night playing music we always play Fingertips. It's a delicate song for delicate moments, and those are rather rare these days, hence the "low" streams (which they're still millions and millions across all platforms).

WHAT is with the Sex Talk hate?? It’s literally a good song??? Even if it wasn’t one of my FAVORITE Kim songs, I’d recognize it as good as the rest of her catalogue - which is mostly amazing. There are so many other duds on Problématique that use similar stems as better songs, while Sex Talk at least sounds unique within that project. Like y’all are so annoying for that and yes i take it VERY personally..

Why are you always so abrasive when you’re defending your opinions? Pop culture is in a very particular wavelength where everything is meant to be consumed as fast as possible: songs are chopped up and sped to fit minute-sized videos and fancaps and also to suit the latest trends until the the next ones come along. It comes with no surprise that most people that dwell in the internet and are more likely to be exposed to Lana’s music aren’t quite inclined to listen to longer songs like Kintsugi and Fingertips when they’re the same people who propelled easier-to-digest songs like Boy’s a Liar Pt.2 to mainstream success. Longer, more introspective songs that have no interest in catering to the mainstream’s sensibilities and trends have always been a constant in music, ranging from artists like Björk and Tori Amos to Jeff Buckley and Radiohead among so many others, most of whom are clear influences and inspirations to Lana. It’s ok to not like them but to use spotify stats as a determining factor as to why an artist like Lana - who spent her entire career fighting to have the right to swim against the tide to the beating of her own drum - is being less successful is pointless. Every time people questioned why she was doing things a certain way instead of more obvious alternatives, she proved time and time again that following her gut and honoring her whims is exactly why she’s one of the most respected and celebrated artists working today.

It's really not that big of deal. It wasn't clear from your post that you had panic-bought 2 more from the UK and accidentally ended up with 4. But given how much of a target Lana's merch is for resellers, anyone bragging how they "bought four" of a record is pretty much going to be assumed to be a reseller. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions but 99% of the time people are only purposely buying 4 with the goal to make themselves a profit at the expense of others. If you really feel that guilty about it you can always cancel your extra order and allow people who haven't been able to, a chance to order their own, there isn't a need to do a giveaway even if that's a nice idea.

its just a dent in the sleeve, so unless youre planning on selling it, its perfectly fine plus its the original pressing so that'll always be best. but i really wouldn't worry about the dent. it doesn't affect the record inside and half the records i buy show up like that. and idk why you'd be considered a "local" for not keeping a record in mint condition. records are meant to be enjoyed and that includes getting bent up somwtimes.

I wanted to post on here and say I am planning on giving away two of the UV repress vinyls. like many of us who ordered, the US store didn’t give an immediate confirmation so there was a bit of panic. so I went to the UK store and ordered two more & immediately got my confirmation. about an hour later I got the US confirmation so now I have two extra records that I do not need. I thought about cancelling the UK order but I wondered if I canceled it would it still show sold out on the website, so I thought this route would be better. i wanted to giveaway in a sense the two extra I don’t need. I’m thinking to have people message me their usernames, fav song off UV & why, and then have them added to a random drawing. I’m going to just use a random wheel spin & pick two people from that lol. so, if you want to be apart of the little giveaway I have planned because I know how many of us wanted this special vinyl, I want to be able to share it with two people who also love this album as much as me. UV was the album that changed my life, and made me fall in love with Lana. I think 20k pressings in the great scheme of things is limited, for an album as iconic as ultraviolence especially. I think the whole point of this was to get a highly sought after edition into more fans hands. She has done that and of course the scalpers always get to them too but her team can only control that so much.

Kinda surprising seeing a pretty rare record become common. I’m all for repressing limited releases but they should definitely keep it under 10k because it no longer becomes a limited release

Everyone that didn‘t got a confirmation mail, don‘t panic. When i ordered the first stock the mail arrived an hour later. I panicked too cause they sent those emails out very quickly but it came. (it was the german store)

bc as much as no one wants to admit it, deep down there is enjoyment in having something that is rare that everyone else wants

Kintsugi and Fingertips are essential in Lana’s discography. The foggy examinations of grief, loss, memory and trauma with such delicate instrumentation as the sonic foundation are just lyrical pearls that deserve to go down in the songwriting history books. No one’s doing it like her.

Omg Kintsugi and Fingertips are the cornerstones of this album for me 😭 I couldn't imagine it without them
