Echoing and summarizing what other users have touched on.. Out of all the artists listed prior to Boz saying that the artist was mentioned in his replies, Lana seems like the most reasonable choice (although it does surprise me that he’s potentially being this positive about it). Most of the other artists mentioned at the timing of the second tweet are those who already have singles out, have a tight security team in terms of leaking, are far from being done with their record, or are those artists Boz already anticipates to be good. Boz being critical of Lana’s past few records but more recently being receptive to Watercolor Eyes could support this, too! Also, liking and unliking a reply about Lana seems really suspicious, especially after (if I remember correctly) that he liked a tweet not long ago asking if he wasn’t allowed to talk about her release. Could he have been joking or bluffing? Sure…but… Then again, we have a lot of coincidences aligning, particularly with Ben’s comments. My guess is Taylor or Lana, but I would be genuinely shocked if Taylor’s leaked, and I don’t think he would be surprised to enjoy a Swift record. I did consider Rihanna and Caroline Polachek, but from what others have said, it doesn’t seem like Polachek was mentioned until after his second tweet, and wasn’t Rihanna recently in the studio, suggesting she’s far from done? I guess we’ll find out

I think a big giveaway that it’s Lana is that he has it months ahead of release. Let’s be honest Rihanna’s album wouldn’t be available for insiders to listen to so far in advance. I’m sure everything she’s done is kept top secret and safe. I mean I guess it could be Sky but she was supposed to have released so many times and it’s known she’s dropping so I don’t think he’d be so secretive about it. Someone mentioned Britney but I don’t think he’d be surprised he likes Britney so much since that’s his fav. Well F, my laptop's memory is too full to create a 300 dpi file. I'll have to find a way to solve that tomorrow. Anyway, here's a preview of my design!! Sorry for the low quality picture and uglee watermark, I'm just scared of what people can do with other's art online lol. I also blurred my signature. The gray background is just there so you can see everything, it won't be there in the submission (meaning that the little holes and everything will be see-through/showing the color of the fabric instead). So! My idea for this was to use the iconic photo of Lana with her cigarette as inspiration for Ultraviolence! I wanted the cig smoke to create this oval shape to frame her but I don't think anyone can tell that it's supposed to be smoke anymore, haha. I'm also scared that the Village will think I've used the original UV logotype, which might be copyrighted?, so I drew it instead. I'm picturing this could work as a print for t-shirts, sweaters and such! I really want to draw something for Honeymoon as well, and Norman but I have no ideas for Norman... which makes me sad, because I love that album so much. ( ; - ; )

this might be an unpopular opinion here but when u think about it, a lot of Lana's music is a reflection and pondering of being/ existing. there's definitely a lot to do to entertain oneself but we all know she's got a hunger for trying to understand more of the philosophical and metaphysical questions. these days, the existence and practicing of wonder is honestly kinda dwindling w the age of tech. u might go to a retreat, or a spa find a moment of enlightenment to figure things out but a church can be a more accepting place where not having the answer is alright. sure a lot can get convoluted but if she centers herself, that can be a powerful thing that she might take time to better interpret for herself. who knows really

Hate to kill the excitement but I remember this was discovered sometime last year! It’s not her—it seems like someone (presumably a young fan) was able to tap into the settings and changed the recording to their cover of the song. Prior to that it was playing California, and then American back in 2018! It hasn’t been Burnt Norton for a while, so I doubt this is anything to note for the new album, unfortunately. Hopefully something is on the way soon!

He makes Putin seem restrained in his words and actions; Medvedev openly says shit about dropping nukes and how all Westerners are devious scumbags, etc. He has often been criticised in Russia as lacking ambition and I feel like he would try to prove a point if he took office. Oh yeah, Russian friends say that the Russian govt is setting up mobilisation offices at all the borders and in the major cities. It's widely suspected that if the reserves + the Belarusians that Lukashenko is mobilising can't win the war, there may be a wider mobilisation. My friend's husband (the one I posted about ages ago who got arrested) got kicked in the head by a police officer at a protest in Moscow so they have gone to the US because otherwise it would've been really, really bad for him.

probably not an unpopular opinion, but it bothers me how literally female artist who does anything slightly alternative is automatically said to have “lana del rey vibes”, like, do the people who say this even listen to lana? some random girl making a rock song with electric guitars doesn’t automatically make her a “lana del rey vibe” but i don’t mean this as any shade towards alternative female singers, it’s just bothersome to me that people can’t think of anything else to say besides “lana del rey vibes” just because a female artist isn’t making bubblegum pop also, semi-related, it bugs me a lot to see people in the comment sections of mazzy star videos hate on lana del rey and accuse her of copying them, it’s so inaccurate, i do not understand the comparison at all, they are barely alike! and i gurantee you that if lana really did take inspiration from mazzy star/hope sandoval, she would be open about it, like she is with all of the artist she’s inspired by…

I think it’s likely, I don’t know who else it can be, and him liking the lana gif kinda gave it away. Also it makes sense for him to say “it’s so wild, can’t believe I love it this much” since he’s said last year he doesn’t like Lana’s new stuff as much. It also makes sense timeline-wise, i mean ben hasn’t been saying “ album coming soon” twice for no reason and with boz saying we might wait a few months it all makes sense
