I can’t understand why so many people dislike kintsugi and fingertips they’re literally my favorite tracks of the album. I guess if you get it, you get it..

fingertips is now my favourite track on the album. it took me two weeks to find my way into it but when it clicked, it fucking clicked. the melody of "exotic places and people" has been spinning in my head for five days. I can't help but imagine if the vocals were recorded with quality mics and there was a little more instrumentation, maybe hints of ocean sounds when she talks about the waves/drowning herself etc. but overall its an incredible track. really goes to show sometimes you just have to sit with art before forming an opinion and your first impression (while important) isn't always correct. I know people see it as a stream-of-consciousness poem that she put music to, but to me it feels like an opera. Like imagine an opera singer on stage singing it with classical strings, on a stage like this:

I think comparing Pink Champagne with Ocean Blvd is like comparing apples and oranges, tbh. Pink Champagne was Lana writing from a much younger perspective, clearly not 2022 Lana. Pink Champagne should have been on UV. I don’t see any other album, with their respective vibes, where it would have fitted. It was a misstep, to take that demo and to rework it to fit the peaceful vibes of COCC. However, Ocean Blvd is so incredible that even though we love some UV demos, I won’t forsake my beloved OB because of them

Lana singing “I think that we should address this, acting like the young and restless” too fast over the piano, and then the piano solo after being extremely fast and chaotic like it’s trying to keep up with her emotions is the most brilliant moment in the album

The way Candy Necklace is #2 on the poll… piano ballads were never the issue… the issue is we were getting BAD piano ballads

whats funny about people using old demos to drag her newer songs is if any of the new songs leaked as old demos, evwrypne would be eating them up crying about how theyre better than anything shes ever released. if fingertips was an old demo the haters would say its her best song ever

A few interesting things: About A&W : - she sent an acapella version to Jack but he hadn't read the email so it sat there for 7 months, - Jack suggessted to add the Jimmy Jimmy Coacoa Puff part but she had it in mind since her relationship with Barrie-James, - she wasn't sure about releasing it as a single at first but her 11 girlfriends told her they loved it lol

Personally I just don't think you should review an album if you can't put aside the fact that you don't like the artist and objectively listen to it

She should’ve saved Pink Champagne for this album instead of stripping it down for Chemtrails. Would’ve sounded great between “Grandfather” and “Let The Light In”.

Not to sound pretentious but this album has made all the music I normally listen to sound so basic and simplistic. It feels like it’s ruined other music for me, hopefully just temporarily.

i haven't been able to stop listening to the LMLYLAW demo her tone of voice, the heavy guitars, the released one even tho is kinda lame you can tell it had potential and this UV demo proves that it is a good song, the execution was just wrong, it's so versatile that it's now one of her best and worst at the same time

sorry but sometimes this type of tea is even more exciting than new album tea

In my opinion none of the recent leaks come CLOSE to any of the songs on the new album. Ocean Blvd is prolific, it's superior sonically and lyrically.

i like void! i find odd that a 4 minute song doesn't have a bridge, i really miss more bridges in today's music. other than that it's a cute songs and a new sound for melanie which is refreshing to hear

They probably made it up so that people buy the album.
