Hi everyone! As promised, I'm getting new themes ready for you all asap. I just finished coding in a new theme for 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass' You can switch to the new theme by scrolling to the very bottom of the site, selecting 'Theme' and then selecting 'Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass' Please let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the theme, or if you notice any issues with it! I can make tweaks to it as needed. Hope you all enjoy the first new theme since 2017 lol. I'll also work on creating and coding in new themes for NFR & COTCC after its release, and then of course creating some past-era themes for our Supporters 2.0 group! x Preview:

i just wish text was underlaid with some uniform color cuz this makes it really hard to read, especially the bread crumbs on top otherwise i love it

In it's entirety? probably. I liked portions of it but it falls flat in so many areas that it's just bleh to me

It's crazy how we all have different takes on what NFR is. I think that shows thatshe actually didn't put much thought into it and sorta just included everything on her mind without being choosy. That's why to me it feels wishy-washy and unrefined in most places, compared to previous work, but to others it feels like true authentic Lana because it feels less filtered. I think what's on NFR IS her natural way of thinking, but it's not stylised the way we were used to before. To me it feels like she didn't go into that album with much of a goal, except to just do something new.

Ugh @Elle you killed it my love. The Violet theme is gorgeous ? I'm sooo excited for different themes to swap around with.

The only other person I recognise is Val, who is beside her in the white hat. I think her friend Tatiana was also there but I don't think she's in this picture (although it could be her in the pink visor). Anyway, I think it's really rad that the sis did this.

I'd have to redesign them since I don't have access to them, plus they wouldn't be designed correctly for the new layout anyway - I do remember the old UV theme, which I really liked, so I can try to redesign that one. I also have a loose concept for a new UV theme for our Supporters 2.0 category, so I may make multiple themes for each past-era for our Supporters 2.0 to choose from! x

We were really robbed with them abandoned 2018 album sessions, huh? 2018 Charli alongside Number 1 Angel Charli, just hits differently tbh.

if we can have multiple themes for the site, no joke, can we get a charli theme? @wraith said he would design it

Her poetry is actually fine once you understand that it's not 100% autobiographical and you don't feel the need to correlate everything back to what one might think her private life, interactions and relationships are actually like. It's not particularly poignant, but it certainly is interesting to dive into in my honest opinion.

i think it might be her cowriting with jack which made the songs feel less lana as lana writing with rick probably comes very natural to her, and with others like emile they didn't really change a lot about the lyrics of the songs they worked on with her.

i have a theory that part of the themes and lyricism in NFR was kind of an experiment to test critics/the general public. I don’t think that it felt totally authentic to her (obviously there is a grain of truth in everything she says/does, but in this case it kind of felt forced, like the smile on the LFL cover), and to me her insta debacle confirmed this. not saying she doesn’t fully stand behind everything she wrote, I just don’t think it’s her natural way of thinking about things so it didn’t feel very passionate to me, which is something I always look forward to in her music. i think that’s why she didn’t sing too many of the new songs on tour either, although not to drag her it didn’t seem like she enjoyed singing many of her songs at all lmfao

So I know we just got the new theme and stuff, which heyo yes it looks cuter than it was before (lavender yess) but I just wanted to know, can we have like the option to keep our statuses private, and blogs for those who are members for the forum instead of the entire net possibly coming in? like I'll say what I want for sure, but I appreciated how private the statuses and some other things on the forum were, exclusive to just other members. also excited about the possibility of making our own themes etc.

This is awesome! I've got just one wish/suggestion for improvement – right now the title of a thread is barely readable because it's black text on a pretty dark/colored background. Maybe you could make the background of every thread title white or white with 50 % transparency or something like that?
