I'd like to humbly manifest this -A clear and consistent, Old Hollywood glamour aesthetic -NFR level of promotion -Lots of screaming & at least one guitar solo -Three high budget mvs + maybe a bonus homemade one -No more complaining about critics -Hollywood or Hollywood's Dead -A poetry interlude -A reactivation of the official LDR account -An "Elvis is my daddy, Marilyn's my mother" moment -A tour

I interpreted the country music comment as something along the lines of what she was listening to for hours on the radio as she was driving from Bakersfield to LA (aside from chatting with Annie). Annie is working on being a stylist so I doubt she has anything to do with music, and I really don’t think the next record is country-esque, given what we know about it.

honestly i would love a country album down the road but after 3 acoustic based records she just needs a serve to switch things up and then earn that country record yk what i mean.. like if beyonce's second act is country i'm gonna love it because she already served cunt on renaissance. now it's lana's time to serve cunt

I had a dream about Lana releasing a stand-alone EP called Murmur Of The Autumn. So my dream started with Lana doing a livestream in late August, where she talked about wanting to release something this fall, but it's not album related or anything. She read couple of books mentioning how beautiful and spiritual autumn is and she got inspired to make some "autumn themed" songs. She also said how randomly she listened to Season Of The Witch and she found the instrumental really cool. Then my dream contiuned, it was the 13th of October when Lana announced that tomorrow she's going to release a song called Writing Songs At The Backseat. On the 14th she released a visualizer lyric video for the song (The video was a close up of her sitting in a vintage convertible car looking at the ocean on her side) and it had a NFR type of filter on it. The song itself had a LFL & Chemtrails fusion to it, can't remember anything else. Later she announced the release date of the EP (2022.11.04) and she also revealed the cover and the tracklist. (I can't remember the cover art) - Tracklist - 1. Writing Songs At The Backseat - 4:25 2. Amber Dahlias - 4:18 3. Evergreen - 4:37 4. ...Maybe In The Dark - 4:36 5. Raindrops Gleaming - 3:59 6. Day of Death - 4:55 7. My Shadow Is Greeting Me As a Stranger - 5:26 Keep up with the Lana Dream Arc energy & the delulu energy

I mean I know she’d never do that… But what a song, the mysterious, cinematic verses kill me. Such a shame it wasn’t released back when it deserved to.

Sis, she LITERALLY give our lil old forum a shout-out to her scrapped "Party 4 U" lyrics on Twitter. Not to mention that this thread is the best piece of documentary of her career that has, and forever will exist. Her coming by and leaking the "How I'm Feeling Now" album promo plan during Covid?! What second(ary) forum ever got this type of appreciation from an artist e v e r???

I’d personally want her to lean into what she did/is doing with Crash even more. This has truly been her most thrilling era to date. Realistically, I think she may lean into the garage sound along with continuing with the sound on Constant Repeat + the Crash bonus tracks since they were the final bits finished for the album. Given that she’s dating George and has been vocal about loving the band, I wouldn’t be surprised if The 1975s was an inspiration too. I believe she said something about more guitars in an interview during release week (was it Apple Music, alongside mentioning AG and going opposite and him learning something new??)

She could cover Don’t Tell Me by Madonna. Slayyyter collabs on her WESTERN WAP. The Weeknd has a speaking interlude - using full on COUNTRY’ accent. Also one of the songs Lana is just humming a heavenly tune…

Malibu was originally from Era 1 then reworked for a single release in 2020. There’s another song called Tropical that she briefly played on a live-stream. She first mentioned it Nov 2017 so I would say that is from Era 1. Sex it up for fun is from March 2019 like you said, so I guess that was a Clarity scrap… I know we have a Doja clip but I was never aware of her being on the song until the snippet leaked. I wonder if it was reworked after Azealia cancelled the collaboration for not wanting to be the “gay hiphop spokesperson”. The song is far too similar to Faded so I hope they reworked the alleged Doja version. There’s tonnes of other unreleased songs, like Pick Him For Me and Shame On Me but it’s not clear what time they came from and when Era 1 started. For example there is apparently an original version of Hillside Boys from 2014 before Kim ever worked with Luke, which was then later reworked with Luke for the final single we got in 2017. When If U Think About Me was released she referred to it as the first song recorded for the era and the birth of “Woo-Ah”. The recently leaked Design Of Your Heart contains a “Woo-ah” suggesting it was recorded after If U Think About Me..: Reason Why/It’s Your Life, despite being a SOPHIE song was made at the same time as 1,2,3 days up, and there was suggestions that there might have been more songs made.

I’m craving the next era of solo Charli ready for a new experimental phase. Something that pushes the limits of pop music even further but also makes me feel something give me the excitement of the droplet era with a whole new look (maybe a shorter hairstyle to contrast the HIFN/crash era) also I would love to see her work with producers like AG, Danny, and also some new producers like Fredrik Okazaki (produced bliss with FKA twigs and yung lean) or others she hasn’t worked with before that still offer interesting production What does everyone want to see next?

We do know Drew is the main producer who is an orchestra guy, plus she described the sound as orchestra for the plastic bag song. Jack also produced a song with her that has piano and 808s, again doesn't sound like country.

I wonder if a Get Free version where she says Amy and Whitney still exists cause on the released one you can hear "for A- and for W-" but I don't know if the decision to silence those parts was made while recording (so a full version may not exist anymore) or after she had the song done (so a demo might exist). Maybe those lines were from Malibu
