Our annual Lipsters Awards is our site's own awards ceremony where we all come together to honour all the members, music, moments, memories, and messiness that make our community what it is. I look forward to hosting this year's annual ceremony with you all again! I always anticipate to our Lipsters Awards every year as it's one of my favourite things we do here on the site. Just came across this. It's her 27th birthday, she's obviously sick with a cold, and she swears on live BBC radio in the morning and doesn't acknowledge it. She talks about criticism from American journalists and how she is perceived as a writer. Then, she teased the non-existent "Dark Paradise" video. She goes on to tease future concepts in Paradise/Tropico with Walt Whitman and Allen Ginsberg's "Howl". THEN, she sings the iconic snippet of "Time of the Season" by The Zombies. Three days later she performed at BBC Radio 1's Hackney weekend and did the famous "Million Dollar Man" performance. I can't imagine living in this period of Del Rey (I was 11)

I think it is going to be interesting to see if anything else is teased in the coming months. In my mind the era will kinda wrap up after the Grammys so I wonder if she will start looking towards the next era or keep the Ocean era going with all the festival dates next year

how does everyone feel that the era has been extended to 2024? do we think she's gonna do more for the album? is she going to be super meta and release the unreleased album to go along with the themes of being forgotten like the tunnel? or is she going to pull an arianka and shoe in a new album while the tour continues

Ivory Almond 2024 1. Best Profile Picture - What is the first thing you picture when you hear the name Ivory Almond? If you said "Sarah Paulson," then you're part of the majority. From the very start of my LanaBoards account, my profile picture has and will always be different variants of Sarah Paulson. Below are the eras that some may recognize: Manic Uber Driver Era: British Actress Era: Lesbian Lana Era: As you can see, my Sarah pfps continue to get more and more aggressive (just a fun little fact for you all)! 2. Best New Member - Although I've been a fan of Lana's for years now, it wasn't until late 2022 when I discovered LanaBoards and became a lurker. After the announcement of DYKTTATUOB, I became an official member, so I am pretty recent. For the most part, I'd like to think I've contributed a lot in my time on here so far, so please consider me for this award. 3. Jack Anti-noff Award - for Best Audio Artist - What started as a simple username that I came up with in 5 minutes based off of my favorite unreleased song, "Fine China," became a legacy project quickly. After the discovery of PlastiscGuy's youtube channel, I opened GarageBand on my macbook and got to mixing. It started with Art Deco, and then Religion (my mom's favorite Lana song). Soon, I decided I wanted to do a handful of Honeymoon songs in my own style.
