14 likesNgl I’ve always had the impression that Taylor likes/admires Lana more than the opposite. I never felt that Lana loves Taylor - she has complimented Olivia, Billie, Madison, Rosalía, SZA, etc quite a few times (not to mention the veterans and legends she stans) and never did I see her doing the same for Taylor. It doesn’t really matter but let’s not act like Taylor’s one of Lana’s besties lol.

9 likesWe all have our all-time favorites, but I tend to cycle through her albums and eras, having different favorites on rotation. At times, I listen to some more frequently than others depending on things like the season, mood, or relatability. Which Lana era is your favorite at the moment? I’ve been currently loving Ocean Blvd, Lust for life, and Honeymoon <3 (I couldn’t find any threads like this so if it’s been done delete I’m sry) edit: clarified to make more sense

9 likesive kind of changed my opinion on the interludes, i used to skip the judah smith one bc it made me really uncomfortable, i was not a huge fan of being made listen to a religious preacher and also that's nothing like what I would have heard in my church growing up so it sounded bizarre to me. I see it for what it is now, its very meaningful and artistic and i almost like the way it makes so many of us uncomfortable. there's a lot of layers to it, idk id encourage some of u who hated it like me to give it another chance, im not religious but i am spiritual, and there's lessons to be learned in all religions whether you agree with them or not, and this is a nice one. it contextually develops this album nicely too, i wish i could have had the full album experience with this interlude on the first listen! maybe everyone else has already had this but I was an avid skipper until about a while ago

9 likestbh I think this is my fav Lana album. If I could only listen to one Lana album for the rest of my life, it would be this one. I love every track, even the interludes. I do enjoy her interludes even though I know most don't enjoy them (mostly Judah smith lol). They add more personality and context to the album. It's the most diverse in sound of all her albums and has everything I could want in a Lana album; deep introspective lyrics, existential, spiritual, experimental elements, and some bops of course I used to not be a huge fan of all the piano Ballards, but they've definitely grown on me. Out of all her albums, this one has the most songs that make me cry like a baby lol. When I'm listening to this album, it sounds like I'm listening to the inner thoughts in her brain, it's truly earned a special place in my heart

8 likesI mean if were talking lack of promotion, the instagram drama, candy necklace mv, ocean blvd billboard in tulsa, random sporadic suprise concerts, elvis appearance, waffle house, magazines, skims even the "late" glastonbury set and possible engagement all contributed to promotion! its just not typical promotion as in shoving her music(or this specific album) on every radio and performing it on every talk show, which she really doesn't need although id love it for some fun stuff to watch. idk about ur guys radio station but mine are still playing 2018 lizzo so I don't think radio would affect it that much lol, never heard sza on the radio either (maybe u guys have?) and she's the big one to beat it seems! she's got huge off of tiktok this year and visiting cities she hasn't been in in years also, I don't think she's got a bad shot

7 likesI mean not necessarily. Jon Batiste doesn’t have that loyal of a fan base or is that popular and has still won multiple times. He’s a Grammy darling but still. Often the most popular songs don’t win at the Grammys and a wild card nominee takes it home. I think Lana will win at least one award. She has an even better chance with Jack being a main producer of the album/A&W specifically since he’s loved by the Academy.

Just listened to Witch V Witch again, why don't we talk more about this song? I've never heard anything like it, and probably never will again. Bitch was going crazy in the studio -
