Ew. EW. why TF are we talking about a delay. Yall, no. Im sorry, even though her track record is sort of...ass...this album is coming. I refuse to entertain the thought that she'd delay this. There is no point or reason she could come up with. Have some faith brethren and sistren. Also sorry my tone comes off so strong, I came on here and saw all these "delay" posts and honestly saw a bit of red. Even though its not that serious hahah but for real, we're getting this. It will be low-key and made for the stans, which is us. Ok, I feel better. Adding delay to the cursed filthy word list, "soon" being chief among them.

Since it’s covers and digital only, there’s not a précise amount of songs that need to be there. It could just be a cute EP even. When she talked about it, it sounded as if a couple of songs were already recorded. it’s the main reason why a delay is possible (it’s Lana here) but more unlikely. Plus imagine delaying an album that was made to help us with the delay of another one... That would be the meta of bad.

i feel like she downgraded the second she met Jack. Even the demo of Votd that she sent to him as inspo sounds better than most of the songs on the nfr. Lmlylaw sounds straight out of nfr. Its just getting boring and repetitive.It even has the exact same short melody in the background as most of nfr songs. Summertime was finally something new and you can see how much fans liked it. If Lana stays with Jack for the next albums, i think fans will slowly begin unstanning

I remember a month or so ago she mentioned wanting to collab with them (and insinuating she hadn’t before?) so I’m assuming the collabs she did with them are just fully scrapped. (ik she said the grimes one was scrapped cause they werent feeling it, idk abt the rina one tho) I rlly hope Charli x Grimes will eventually happen. I feel like a Rina collab def will, kinda written in the stars tbh there’s no way they aren’t releasing a collab one day.

I wouldn't say I lost interest in her as an artist, I'm still a hopeful fan and very looking forward to next releases and stuff. But, you do hit the nail when you say that her work has little to no replay value nowadays. I didn't like 'Lust for Life' as an album, but the songs I loved on there, I loved them and I'm still listening to them to this day. On 'NFR'... I'll listen to the title track sometimes even if the opening line is cringy, or sometimes if I feel like it 'Venice Bitch' or 'The greatest', but that's honestly about it.

The new movie won't be about crybaby as crybaby's era has now ended. The movie will be about herself. :/ Personally I have little interest in a second movie and I think she should just do music videos and maybe a "short" Explaining where crybaby went. Fans shouldn't have to wait another several years because Melanie is known for pushing back the release timelines she set for herself. I feel like she has stopped listening to what her fans are and aren't liking if I'm honest. K-12 lost MGA millions but she still wants to go into that direction :/ they're gonna drop her if she keeps loosing them money.

Everytime a new album comes out i always listen to it at least 3 times for the first 3 or 4 days, and then i stop for like a week and a half cus i get sick of it, and then when i come back, if its a good record, it remains fresh and timeless forever.. anyone else do this?

I‘m so grateful to experience one of the possible greatest eras in pop history. Dua‘s hard work has already paid off, but she keeps feeding us. Now if only Ms Rona would end her world tour, so I can actually dance my ass off at her shows with other people

i totally agree with this! i think what truly makes NFR special is the lyrics and how raw everything feels, the stripped back instrumenation of the album really let’s her voice and lyrical content shine. ultraviolence definitely has it’s sad moments and dark subject matter like pretty when you cry and sad girl but lana herself doesn’t necessarily act too upset that things are falling apart in the relationship, it seems that she’s almost in love with the idea of the brokenness. however throughout NFR she becomes aware of how fucked up everything is and how badly it’s affecting her which i think makes the music much more heartbreaking and relatable.

Also, I don’t get the hype around “you fucked me so good that I almost said ily”. People were saying that’s one of the best opening lines they’ve ever heard. I thought it was cringe ngl

@vodkaa posted a bigger version of that gif with a caption (I can't remember what it was) and people (including me ) started posting the gif and adding stuff like "Barrie knowing he gets a song on this one too", "Neil Krug knowing that he shot the cover", "Elle when she sees this thread" and so on. It was a mess, we got like 10 pages full of Octavia Spencer gifs and we all got warning points for it (not even complaining, but we were bored ) and @Elle added that smiley like the kind queen she is.
