My favourite 3 shaped up to be Thunder, Wildflower Wildfire and Nectar of the Gods; they happen to come right after each other. Nectar of the Gods is truly heartbreaking. The way she delivers the lines, her voice and even the sound of the guitar sounds so painful, I feel every second of it.

New Shapes is a big bop and the music video is great and those who disagree are wrong and need to get some taste

Ok so New Shapes is incredibly well written and produced. Like this song is perfectly crafted. I truly don’t understand the people that are saying it’s basic or disjointed? My best guess is that some of y’all aren’t versed enough in the inspo(or 80s rhythmic/dance-pop in general)? Also Christine and Caroline really elevate the song, allowing New Shapes to outclass Good Ones IMO (& I mean no hate to good ones, but it is the more basic of the two). Plus I love when Charli has a girl group moment, it really ups the replayability of the song for me. Also why is no one talking about how much it slays lyrically? The song kinda ripped my heart out but made me dance whilst. Charli serves us her usual avoidant attached self, but then we get Christine & Caroline to give us the flip side experience of the anxious attached partner (which HITS for me). It’s a bop with depth y’all!

Also, the chorus of Black Bathing Suit makes me feel like sauntering and bopping my entire body in slow motion down the street and winking at a “real cute” stranger. I feel such a burst of confidence listening to this song, which is a rare feeling and one I really value.

I'll never get why she never put em "Era 1" tracks together & made it an album. Literal pop perfection, it would've been Teenage Dream's little sister

Don't Call Me Angel was a fucking disaster (mainly because the production, literally sounds like someone threw together some royalty free loops in their sleep), but the part in Lana's verse where Ariana does her whistle notes is heavenly I don't see them ever collabing again, but if it were to happen, something with the vibe of the DCMA bridge would be best. For LDR9, though, I'm still hoping for a heavy jazz influence. It'd be interesting to see how Mike Dean would go about that. Give me brass and some electric guitar

Manifesting collab with Megan and Cardi! Her WAP would be collapse

I tried to like New Shapes but for me it's simply one of her worst singles. The song itself sounds disjointed and just not pleasant and the video felt lazy. The album snippets sounded AMAZING though, so I'm still looking forward to this era!

Miles Kane deserves to be credited on Dealer. It's confusing that his name is not mentioned on the Youtube or Spotify version.

more glory album photoshoot pics. She was ready to give us a full blown era and they went with a screenshot for the album cover. This also confirms the rumors about her wanting to be being chained to the house for the album cover.

I just listened to a podcast where they discussed this album and 2 of the 3 hosts said that TNBAR is their favorite on the album and then one of them said she hates MAC and VB is too long… I wanted to throw up so bad

I don't see the appeal of a Lana and Ariana collab. Sure, they're both amazing artists, but I'm not dying to see them on a song together again. I think the DCMA thing with Lana, Ari, and Miley was so random and they just put them together so it would be shocking and more people would check out the song, not because they match each other's energy I personally would like another album full of solo songs, I'm not really big on collabs

I don't know if it would make sense sonically but I wish she'd collab with some of the QftC ladies to show there is no bad blood between them If she wants to have Kali on her record she can have Doja or Megan too Her trap-pussypopping-magum opus incoming

I just think its crazy how the #FreeBritney movement was basically at a standstill for so long and all it took was a Netflix documentary to get the gp to care ive been following the movement since 2019 and it seems like nothing was happening till that movie came out but anyway that doesn't matter anymore cause SHE IS FREEE im just happy she's able to live the legendary retired popstar life she wants to live now she's done so much for the music industry she deserves to live the rest of her life in peace <3

it's just so fucking dynamic. and it's honestly? at least for me, just masterful genius. UV can sorta enable u, HM can get u drunk, Paradise is viceland, BTD's quick jabs, LFL's hopes, COCC's breathing rests, and NFR's camp, it's all softly overshadowed by this one. I think it's because, it's one of the most wholesome of albums. at least for me, it kinda started w cocc's peaceful breathing, but this? it's on it's level, and what it does or has the capacity to do, is to allow the listener to be able to listen to themselves more in a subtle kind of life changing way. like, it makes u feel uncomfortable but in a good way that makes u want to change for the better. it transcends from just listening, to actually doing. how fucking magical is that?

I was listening to White Mercedes today and it fully settled in how it’s such pop perfection . it never gets talked about, if it was an album track I feel like it’d get given so much more props

love the hook/chorus of new shapes but the verses are super disappointing melodically, imo. that said the snippets she shared of other album songs have me thinking this album WILL be superb.

I thought solar power would've grown on me more by now but with time I started liking it less. I don't think it's a terrible album, I'd still put it on as background noise, but it's just so bland. Especially when you compare it to her last 2 albums. Like, it really has nothing going for it. I remember listening to it for the first time being so excited about the bridge of Fallen Fruit cause it had a beat lol, that's so sad. The Path also started out beautifully, an amazing way to start an album, but then halfway through the song just turns into Herbalife the musical.. I didn't expect her to top Melodrama, but I just expected more. & People can go on and on with their "this is a weed album, it's meant to be boring. you can't relate to it cause it's happy. your brain is too small to understand that acoustic guitar is far superior than synths!" but that really won't make the album any less boring lol. Going from an album as good as Melodrama to this is just tragic. Solar Power was a big disappointment.
