The fact that this has been Lana's biggest streaming year ever, she's had a song in Euphoria, and is now potentially working with Taylor makes me hope that this era will be more mainstream.

i think it would be great if taylor & lana released a song together. they have a lot of overlapping fanbase these days since they both focus heavily on emotional songwriting & both like exploring different music genres. i am sure the song would be enjoyable for most fans of either of them. plus if it is on taylor's album, lana fans who do not like taylor would never have to listen to it anyway. i am unsure if i believe the rumours but i think it would work if it is true. plus i am sure they would have had a lot of fun putting the song together.

That tracklist is probably fake. A couple of days ago there was another similar one but with different tracks (I think the Lana collab was called Hourglass ?) And yes I agree it would make way more sense to just stay silent instead of denying the rumors if they were true If it ends up being real (the collab per se not the title) what are you expecting? I think it could either be country leaning or maybe something more cinematic since that's what Taylor likes to copy get inspiration from Lana

The lead singer of The 1975 said the rumors are fake. Could he be bluffing? Maybe, but I’m a little doubtful—it’s an unlikely pairing, but who knows

If there is a collaboration, I think Taylor would make sure Lana has a significant role in the track. Swift has expressed SO much adoration for Lana that I’d be shocked if Lana only had background vocals. Plus, observing how Taylor’s management seems to operate, I definitely think they’d ensure Lana’s fanbase would get replay value from it. While I rarely care for Lana collabs (with some exceptions), I think Taylor’s love of Joni Mitchell and pop-oriented approach to different genres could make for a really interesting pairing. Honestly, I think it will be either really good or really bad (for me personally, at least). Around 1:16, the chorus of Swift’s Cowboy Like Me begins, and I could totally hear Lana hopping on a track like this (“I’m your man,” vibes, almost). Then again, given Lana’s reputation for more somber tracks, maybe we’ll get something more heartbreaking. We’ll see!

I had my first LDR9 dream last night. Lana released her first single and it was piano only played by Rob, but it was really upbeat and I remember thinking “I never thought she’d release a song like this again”. She reused the “one for the money two for the show” lyric and she was singing really fast, almost in OTTR fashion. I don’t know what this means, but I’m using it as a sign something is happening soon
