She’s really done a lot the last 12 months or so. I’m not sure why there are two camps (I’ve experienced it off of this board as well): 1. Those who think Lana has been lazy and barely promoted this record. 2. The camp who thinks she’s done a lot - like the most she’s done for promotion since probably pre-pandemic. Honestly, the promotion got me super hyped in late 2022/eariy 2023. It pushed my fandom into overdrive. 2023 has been an incredible year for Lana and her fans. She’s not lazy at all. Maybe a bit shy and random, but not lazy. The only criticism that I might be willing to give her is that she may not fully understand just how good this record is. (Creativity, diversity, production, lyrics, variety, etc.) I stand by my opinion that it’s her best work since NFR.

i didn't like kintsugi at all when i listened through the album for the first time, but i felt the urge to listen to it the other day and i would say i like it now! but i will say, i wish her voice wasn't so muffled on it

After giving the free Sky campaign the idea for the billboard, here's the next step I think we should take in this delusional campaign: gaslighting Capitol into thinking there's a new Sky song they're supposed to be releasing (Descending) by talking about it openly on social media and "tipping off" music publications / journalists about it. Whether they decide to seek confirmation from the label or just go with the story I'm sure that'll trigger at least a few questions / some interest within the label lol

not only Margaret is one of the best songs on Ocean Blvd, but it’s also one of its lighter tracks (see other success cases: Paris Texas, Peppers, Let the Light In). It’s happy, romantic, cinematic and —like it or not— very Swiftesque, so it’s only natural it became a hit. I wish they would make a video.

One of the things I respect most about Lana is that she's not interested in maximizing her fame or success. It's really about the art for her. I get being frustrated you're not getting as much content though. Just for me, if she started behaving like "normal" celebrities, I'd probably be excited at first (more content) but turned off eventually.

Yeah, I think it kinda works in Kintsugi for the same reason it works in BPBP but it just sounds horrible in Fishtail.

That's why I think she barely delivered the album to them, she knew it would be a loss. She spoke on the podcast a few years ago that the record label didn't know about the album at all. I think someone in here before said that she sent Downhill Lullaby, Don't Forget, Descending, Innocent Kind(?) and another song? I don't remember it properly but as you said, it could be gone but it could not. Sometimes I wonder, why we didn't get Guardian release? Well just have to wait and see but the thing is: we've been waiting and waited a LOT I thought she was going to speak up on this tour but maybe she's free and can not talk about it.
