She allegedly burned down his garage and his car trying to burn his house down. Lucky for her he didn't press charges. They are friends who allegedly fuck now. With Gerard (G-Eazy) she started fucking him when he was still dating Lana. She knew he was dating Lana but gave zero fucks. He cheated on Lana and that was the end. She punched and slapped G dozens of times. She allegedly tried to run him over with her car. No charges pressed. G for the record has never laid a hand on her. He's human trash and puts his dick in anything that moves, but he doesn't physically abuse his girlfriend's. He cheated on Halsey and Halsey cheated on him. That was mutual. G dumped her but she lies to the press and says she dumped him and that he abused her. She allegedly tried to get back with G after Evan Peters dumped her ass after Valentine's Day this year. G said fuck no. He was dating a model and things were good. Halsey allegedly threatened him. He blocked her phone number. Allegedly had his security make sure she doesn't come near his home. She calls her other ex Dominic (Yungblud) who she cheated on with Evan Peters. He was back to living with her in March right when the pandemic started. She also abused him. Physically and mentally. After a month he left her and went back to Britain. What is she doing now? Sleeping around with various men including the man who's house she tried to burn down. He's dating Megan Fox but cheats on her so wherever. Why does a guy continue being "friends" with the person who nearly burn his house down? Ask Dr. Phil. She also allegedly physically abused Evan Peters. Slapped, punched, kicked and threw anything in the room at him. She allegedly called Evan's family assholes. So allegedly after their big fight in her private plane coming from Switzerland (which she nearly had the plane crash down because she kept kicking at the cockpit door) Evan dumped her. Allegedly. That is how this bitch is. Her crap music is one thing but her personality is something from a horror movie. If you want reciepts, go on Instagram and talk to Gerard's mother and Dominic's siblings. The final line "you should come back to our place, baby. Don't be afraid of our love" has two readings. First, she is saying the even though her man left, Lana wants him to comeback and she is still mentally holding onto their place and their love. (ie. her home is "our" place instead of "my" place). Second, Lana could be inviting a third person for a threesome/group sex or for some sort of polyamorous love. It fits in well with the song's theme of religion and perversion, faithful sinners. Polyamory was also alluded to in the music video for Freak, Groupie Love, and in her many references to Charles Manson. The first reading is probably more reasonable, but I do feel like Lana is being sly and intentionally left the subjects of "you" and "our" a little ambiguous so as to leave open the possibility that she is alluding to something else.

LFL 100% should've started w/ 13 Beaches tbh. 13 Beaches -> White Mustang -> Lust For Life -> Love would've been a cute order I also think it would've made more thematic sense to have 13 Beaches as the opener bc it tells more of a story.... in 13B, she states (via film dialogue sample lol) that she "doesn't belong in the world / something separates me from other people", but by the time we reach Change and Get Free, she acknowledges the she is a part of the world no matter how outcast she feels, that she has to care about the people she feels separate from, that she's ready to move "out of the black and into the blue".

Okay that might be tea (ignore my grown out nails. I have an appointment to get them redone on Friday.) There's a lot of treasures in this book I'll have to share, but out of everything, this page is my favourite. I know it's been around the Lanaverse for awhile and is nothing new to see, but while flipping through all of the senior pages, everyone had such long paragraphs except for Lana. All she offered was one line. It's so very "Lana" of her - but her simple one-line speaks more volumes than any of the other paragraphs. Even though it was a Jewel quote, it just shows how she can express the most sincere sentiments in the fewest of words x

I don't have time right now to read the whole thing but i really like this piece so far. I like how they pick apart her influences and what devices she uses and it makes me happy to see since it's sort of rare to find people give lana the time of day for that sort of stuff. I also agree with the point about a lot of lines, specifically the "they say i come from money but i didn't" are too self indulgent. It's one of my biggest problems with violet. Poetry is inheriently self-centred, but what makes allen ginsberg and walt whitman good poets is how universal the language begins to feel. Lines like "people always accuse me of being rich but im not i swear!!" and "im funny when i drink (btw i swear ive been sober for 7 years)" are just plain uninteresting at best. They might be good topics for her to continue further on and delve into, but when she just puts lines in it like that it ruins the flow and makes violet harder to enjoy

i feel this a lot reading her poetry it's all very undercooked and sounds very ~drafty.. which idk i'm not a fan of. some of her lyrics have this issue as well but i mean music is fine it's not solely based on the lyrics there's great songs with lowkey bad lyrics from a lot of artists out there. poetry is less forgiveable. drag her! honestly, i used to feel like that about lana, i used to think a lot of the stuff she says in her lyrics is very self-aware but these past few months made me think that she's actually not self-aware at all and takes herself (and her art) so damn serious and is very incapable of seeing herself as what she is and not try to convince everyone that she's this great artist, this underdog, this loser who just happened to get this careerstart with btd, all of this is very artpop-gaga thinking so high of herself as if she was the living reincarnated jesus slash immanuel kant. i think i used to overinterpret a lot of her over the top moments in her lyrics because i didn't want to think she's actually this delusional but i might .. actually think i'll have to see it for what it is if she continues to behave like this. this just proves my point which i've voiced over her poetry when she just started out: she's not as skilled as she thinks she is. the way she wrote them on a typewriter and like.. generally seemed to care more about the aesthetic of this all always rubbed me the way that we're going to get this pumped up balloon of pretentiousness without the actual substance of a writer and not just as in the content of the poems but also in the skill-full delivery of stories or images.
