Well, it's official... She's covering a track called 'Buddy's Rendevous' from the deluxe version of his latest album Chloe and the Next 20th Century out in April. "two bonus 7” singles featuring covers of Chloë and the Next 20th Century songs, performed by Lana Del Rey (“Buddy’s Rendezvous”) and Jack Cruz (“Kiss Me (I Loved You)”).

i'll be honest... i'm really glad it's a solo cover instead of a collab bc i really don't care for her collabs... this is pretty exciting! i always love new lana music!

Sjkjkf not the site saying the release date is April 8th, 2021... I too have also been struggling to adjust the fact it's a new year. It also looks like the cover will be released exclusively on the 7in vinyl included in the box set and not digitally, so make sure to order your copies, Lipsters! I also adjusted the title of this thread to give a bit more info! & may I also remind you all of this again... maybe they filmed a video for her cover? x

This title, “Buddy’s Rendezvous”, sounds very eccentric — I could see it being a jazzier number, or even something a little bit folk-rockier. The title reminds me of something she would have written with TLSP in 2017.

I like this. “Lizzy Grant” was how she was known and “Lana Del Ray” was kind of this myth. Now “Lana Del Rey” is how she is known and “Elizabeth Woolridge Grant” is king of a myth or legend to most people. I think it works!

so, a historical fact about that, the origin of the n-word, as well as other racial slurs in english, stems from latin languages, and not the other way around. the thing is, most of them don't mean anything harmful originally.
