Okay after listening to this album at least 20 times, i can firmly say that this is clearly not her strongest album. The songs are amazing and it’s cohesive but i think the issue is the tracklist. i think cherry blossom should’ve been somewhere else in the tracklist because it’s honestly not easy to listen to after living legend. living legend is pretty slow and i’d expect something else coming after it but it’s another song that starts with piano and it’s in the same key, which just isnt my favorite. it’s in no way on ultraviolence tier. chemtrails on the other hand was amazing, almost perfect minus the collabs, which i will forever erase off my library. chemtrails was a cultural reset but blue banisters couldn’t possibly live up to its legacy.

Like Premiere style I just love the way she adlibs and changes her song and adds different vocals FUCK I wish she would do something like what Lorde did during melodrama and released the videos of her performing some of the songs imagine like we’re back in her backyard and it’s like yellow lights strung up with flowers everywhere. She’s wearing a flowing dress and with her band she singsssss FUCK I need more from this era before we move on

question for lanaboards Now that @lanaswildflowers @lanaismamom and @rockwellfckingnorman have had their 1k views hit threads about fake leaks and snippets, mostly produced by @plastiscguy, can I please go back to creating my own threads about snippets which I'm truly doubtful concerning their legitimacy and leak-related stuff that most of the time is asked/discussed/talked about in completely random threads, such as the late UFB pre-leak thread and Blue Banisters pre-release thread, even if they're just as random without being crucified or saying that I'm glamorizing shitposting, spam and unnecessary topics??? I'm fed up with ugly haters and less hot members saying that I glamorize these when in reality I'm just a glamorous person posting about the realities of the chaotic Lana Del Rey fandom. With all of the topics that gays are finally allowed to explore, I just want to say over 1 year of my account's existence I think it's pathetic that my major love for Lorde, my lust for giving Marina some coins through my streams, my passion for Halsey and my serious but long titled threads has often made people say that I set Lanaboards back almost one decade in the past, when threads such as Lana Ass Apreciation, Should Lana Do Porn? and Lana Nude Pictures, which are a lot crazier and wild than mine, were an acceptable part of our daily readings. Let this be clear, I'm not not a spammer - but there has to be a place in Lanaboards for hotties who look and act like me - the kind of wildfire who says yes but less hotties (#SayNotToBodyShaming) say no- the kind of hotties who are slated mercilessly for being their authentic, creative, delicate, unhinged, wild, white hot, crazy selves, The kind of hotties who get their own stories and voices taken away from them by heatless people or by hotties who hate hotties. Anyways none of this has anything to do about much but I'll be detailing some of my feelings in my next threads, comments and memes. I honestly don't get the hate for the PD version. It's one of Lana's best tracks imo. The atmosphere is unmatched. A vintage slutty depressing near death experience black motorcycle tunnel light champagne post nut clarity jazz masterpiece.

Yep she worked on two songs called Tunnel Vision with Kinetics & One Love for the new album. Original file names are 'tunnel vision v0.1' (unleaked) and 'tunnel vision v1' (leaked).

As much as I love Dealer, it really didn’t belong on Chemtrails. It would have overshadowed the whole thing. On BB, it’s just perfect to shake things up a bit, midalbum (plus it’s the culmination of the heartbreak that is going to inevitably happen with If You Lie Down With me and the songs after. Chemtrails isn’t perfect although it’s almost there, and it could have been if she had included one or two sexy songs like TJF.

Let's make some Dark Side of the Moon, NFR, Led Zeppelin IV, Ok Computer, Solar Power level stuff. You can also choose alternate versions/demos and make production/lyrical changes.

Oh man this album will be amazing. I really hope we get longer versions of Faerie Soiree and Corpse when she releases the album, they're my favorites. Also, I wonder if there are finished versions of Magnets and Puzzles that the leakers got ahold of or if they're still unfinished.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Million Dollar Man as it is on Born to Die, and it’s perfect for the soundscape and sonic world of the record…but listening to the instrumental of the Paradise Tour version + hearing the shouty live vocals in the chorus and the jazzy “ooh”s in the bridge before the last chorus, I wish there was some alternate re-release of the song where we got a studio version of that. It’s just so jazzy and timeless and classic. Lana’s interpolations of “jazz” (UV + HM as albums, Million Dollar Man live, and Why Don’t You Do Right live) are all amazing and show off her talent as a musician and artist, she really suits the genre and knows how to make it her own while staying true to its roots.

technically no, midnight and interior were the only songs that were on an official version of the album that didn't make it and they leaked forever ago (interior through entirely legal and even public means too, oh the pre-hack days) but if you wanna say that everything post-14 and pre-true romance was technically on the table...still no tbh its kinda insane just how much has leaked, pretty much everything that we used to wish for in 2013 has come out and obviously tons more too

Determining that is difficult, with the rise of Punk in America and England about 1975-1976, which eventually morphed briefly into New Wave, which was a short but exciting time in popular music. We do know Lana is a Nirvana fan, so we can start looking for post-classic rock era references as well. And since she's covering the 'American songbook,' we may start to see references to songs from the 1920s-1960s.

I get what you’re saying and can agree that for some people this is true, but for me that’s not the case at all. I ADORE California and nothing to do with who produced it. I do love the production, especially the progression of it and how hard the chorus HITS. But mainly due to the lyrical content, WOOOOWEEEEE the whole if you come back to America thing kills me regularly

This is honestly how I feel about Body Electric! I love how much emotion is in her voice where the video starts (“She prays the rosary..”), and I also love how she included more electric guitar in other live performances as well

i think body electric should've been more similar to the early live versions she would perform in 2012, it really suits the song and it's meaning better, but i still love the album version!
