I had a dream last night that an insider claimed that there would be a song on the record titled “Trinity” - but.. can we even trust the insider of my dreams?

Coachella is a 7, but the unjustified hate for it makes it a 10

Thank you. Lord knows what that means. We know she thinks, or thought, 'Ride' and 'Video Games' sound like country songs, and 'country music' is such a broad umbrella term in 2022, it might mean almost anything. Lana might have thought that 'Tulsa Jesus Freak' could have been produced to be more of a 'country song,' or 'Wild At Heart,' or 'LMLYLAW.' I'll take what comes, but that's probably the last direction I'd like to see her go, based on my own imaginative interpretation of what 'country music' might mean to her. If it's 'The Prettiest Girl in Country Music,' or the other two she played live some time ago, then I'm (probably) not going to dig it very much. I love COCC but not the song with Nikki Lane, which I deleted.

October 14 very very rough, raw sound, vocals sound almost lofi, but good. glitchy, like parts of the mix and her vocals just cut in and out. she does more with her vocals than past albums, stuff on there even crazier than Dealer. title track has HEAVY electric guitar and fucked up drums. weird electronic effects layered over orchestral instrumentals. VERY different from her past work

I hope Lana releases a fully country album. Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert style. I hope every single song is a Nikki Lane collab. Just to spite y’all bc y’all are soooooo bitter. Just enjoy whatever she gives u

I mean... Why are we panicking already? We don't even have a fake date, for all we know, she could scrap those songs and release something different... It's not unusual for her

I've tried Paradise Lost and it is too hard (I'm not a native speaker and although I study English as a foreign language it was still too hard lol) I also tired Leaves Of Grass by Walt Whitman (inspiration for Lana's Body Electric) and it was also a bit too difficult, I just stopped after some time 'cus, I mean, I understand the words, but I have no idea what the f was he trying to say

I predict that Lana's eventual country album is what finally gets her a Grammy

Somehow, though, these are strange mental leaps. How does she get from her phone call with Annie to country music or her album? I still think it has to do with her visit to Bakersfield.

Lana wanting a Migos collab…saying the record is angry conversational music with orchestral touches…and now telling us that she hopes we like country She really does contain multitudes, and I love how that gets reflected in her art. LDR9/10 are going to be THE albums. I just feel it

I would say The Blackest Day "It's not one of those phases I'm going through Or just a song, it's not one of them I'm on my own again" Even Heroin has some hope in it "Makes me feel like I can change"

I think this album is gonna be like in NFR! like in terms of kickstarting a whole new Lana and new genre/experimentation. If NFR! kickstarted the stripped down era of COTCC and BB, I can see her next album swinging in the complete different direction. In regards to the “country” argument, I can see the new album still carrying the indie/piano ballads but with the return to Honeymoon orchestrations. If the mood is diaristic, angry, and lush it will be like nothing we have heard from Lana. we either get another LFL, as in not sure what genre it wants to be in but with bangers, or another NFR!, as in Lana successful exploring a new sound and creating masterpieces in the process.

listen, i’m totally into the idea of lana doing whatever she wants despite what the fanbase says, but we cannot handle a luke bryan, miranda lambert style album, the lamination on our stan cards would dissolve & we’d all collapse & die

Tbh the serial killer lyric is so bad too. "If he's a serial killer then what's the worst that could happen", really?! I'm sure you wouldn't want an answer to that question

My younger brother, who’s always hated Lana’s music, has been blasting West Coast, Off to the Races and Dealer back to back non-stop for several days now. I think I’ve finally broken him, I’m so proud

i don’t know what i’d necessarily suggest bc i’ve been reading mostly through v.c andrews’ repertoire of books & i think they’re too extreme subject-wise & honestly objectively… not fine art, although i would be down for reading lolita, which is also quite disturbing, but it’s also a classic & could be a fantastic book for discussions, in general i’d say that i’m pretty open to anything as of right now, but i do have interest in horror books as well as general “classics”
