Timeless album. I remember listening to the album track teaser on repeat and going out of my way to bike past the Ultraviolence billboard in Brooklyn. Lana wailing over the electric guitars in Shades of Cool will forever be a favorite. Not to mention the hair flip in the music video that ended me and set the mood for my Fire Island summer goals

I must admit, I am quite saddened by the closing of the honeymoon account. It was such a special part of the fandom, and I remember following it when it just had a couple hundred followers back in 2015. It’s actually the reason I created my Instagram account because I too had deactivated my prior account in 2014 after deciding to step away from social media, but the creation of honeymoon led me to rejoin with a new account. It’s also the first account Lana followed me on back in 2016. I’ll always hold such special memories with it - especially since she began reusing it after closing @lanadelrey, she would often like/reply to my comments, shout me out on her livestreams, and she even liked a couple of personal posts I made which was such a sweet surprise. She also DM’d me a few months ago to offer me one of the heartshaped cake boxes she was giving away, and we had a sweet little back and forth conversation for about an hour. I’m glad I screenshotted those messages to keep. Interacting with her always gave me a lil extra boost of serotonin lol. Though I’ll miss her on IG greatly, I also understand and respect her decision to step away. Social media can definitely be a big distractor from the more important things in life. I also had a second hiatus for the entire year of 2020 where I deleted the app from my phone in January 2020 and didn’t redownload it until January 2021. It was really needed for me during that time. I hope she’ll return one day, but in the meantime I’m wishing her all the peace & happiness in the world. She deserves it

I agree here.. it’s when they release things days spaced apart that it’s silly! Especially because I can’t hold off a couple of days with some merch as you never know if it will sell out within a couple of hours sometimes! I’m curious to see what the new merch is.. I don’t even think I’m bothered about a rosary necklace if it’s just the same but looks a lesser quality.. like the lighter did.. I’d prefer something new

On one hand, having to pay for multiple shipping costs is annoying, but I would much rather have them spaced out so I can afford them lol If they dropped every single piece of merch at once, so many people would miss out because they don't have enough money or it sells out so fast that it would be impossible to get everything

relistened to this album after a long long while and woah.... this album is so beautiful and incredible and the bridges in salvatore, 24, the blackest day.... high by the beach is such a vibe for summer with a slightly dark tone.... honeymoon is such a sinister opening track, and i love the cover of dont let me be misunderstood. i love the soft trap beats with beautiful orchestral instrumentals which you can see carried over into LFL this album is amazing bye

Wow. It’s really crazy that it’s been 9 years. I feel so fucking old. I still remember listening to Brooklyn Baby on my headphones, walking down the street on a hot summer day. This music changed my life. Thank you so much Lana for giving me the soundtrack to my life and enlightening me through your music. I spent that entire summer streaming this album, and playing Florida Kilos to DEATH. Wow what an album and what a moment that was. I wish I could experience listening to this album for the first time again.

I watched her last Glastonbury set yesterday and she was very good. Her stage presence was extraordinary and her voice was very prominent. I hope the energy is the same this time around. I'm really, really, really tired of the backup track overpowering her vocals.

I've always felt like artists have a very strong, yet bizarre, parasocial relationship with their fans... I get that it's sad that she deactivated her only official social media platform and all its posts disappeared into the interweb trash can--but she's not dead and there is literally no clear indication that she's retiring.
