Honestly, I wouldn’t hate this if it had a Lizzy Grant twist. Make it creepy, complex, mysterious too.

So I know Lana's not into power moves, and I know this is going to be mega unpopular (lolz) but I swear... if she did a country-leaning album and collabed w/ Zach Bryan (preferred) or Morgan Wallen, I'm fairly certain she would take over the entire world. Let The Light In is a preview to that kind of vibe. I'm thinking like ... summer nights, bonfires, acoustic + electric guitars with a bit of orchestra, county fair, small town diner, romance, cotton candy, drive-in movies aesthetic. Just like...... wistful, romantic, Americana sound with a few male backup singers harmonizing with her. Country's truly having a moment and I just know Lana is capable of delivering a masterpiece in that vein. Like a cute, streamlined 10-12 track album. If anyone can merge the gays and middle America, it's Elizabeth... Sonic references: 01, 02, 03, 04, 05 Those who get it, get it...

a lip gloss moment. i want a song that feels like the smell of alcohol from another man's breath humidity and red lit windows aesthetically a beautiful display of soul and resolve playing with constellations something that sounds and looks like the description above.

This is the era of artists not caring about their fans (or their “good” image) anymore apparently

it's embarrassing yeah that she herself is announcing a "messy era" and all she's got is...unfollowing Rina Sawayama...

Norman... i don't think any piece of music has ever struck me the way that you did. I vividly remember listening to the title track for the first time and the chills I got (the chills I still get to THIS day). The way this record tackles destruction and hope in its own beautiful way is nothing short of proof of Lana's genius as an artist. This album is everyday life. Think about it, it's been out since 4 years and it STILL resonates with us today. IDGAF if you hate the production or what not but the story it told... it's everyday life. Hope is a dangerous thing is one of her best songs ever and i'm so glad she got to share it with us. I am glad I got to experience this record and so grateful that many were able to revel in its genius. Thank You Lana

Because it’s a classic ngl tho it’s one of those timeless beautiful songs that will always be iconic. She was channeling god when she wrote that. Such a gorgeous song

honestly i am here for it in terms of the ethos?? like a lot of pop stans need a wake up call that their favs dont give a fuck about them no matter what they say. they can endorse fan behavior and say they love us all they want but in the end we will be streaming and buying and thats what really counts for the artists at the end of the day. they get to make a living doing what they enjoy because we eat it up

I think it’s cause of the Matty drama stuff, Charli has defended him quite a few times online and recently on a deuxmoi post. Rina and Matty seem to be having issues since she called him out at that festival a few weeks ago. Idk but it’s kind of immature of charli to go and act like this on social media tbh

i‘ll try… so you might have heard of matty going on that podcast w/ adam friedland and they mocked asian people/were racist. rina is signed with dirty hit, 1975s label, when she played glastonbury she called him out for it publicly.. and charli remains good friends w/ matty sooo i‘d guess rina is pissed at charli for associating/being friends with matty???

i'd like to start a conversation on this song pls! it's always been assumed that it was produced by steven mertens in 2010 but that don't make no sense... everything else they did was done in 2007 when they were dating and they sound way rougher and more acoustic/live than this pop ballad perfection. she had also moved to london in 2010 and started working exclusively with uk producers like justin parker and honestly this production sounds like something he would have made. it was also apparently registered on ascap in 2017 but i have been unable to find the registration... so a couple of theories: 1. the song was done with steven in 2007 and not 2010 (unlikely, just doesn't sound like anything else they were making and it screams 2010-2011 lana) 2. it was produced by someone else in 2010 but steven co-wrote it in 2007 when she must have done that initial concept demo (v likely, i'd bet on this) 3. what we know is true and they somehow kept in touch and he produced it fully in 2010 while she was living in london - unlikely, she doesn't love keeping in touch with exes, maybe he ended up in london and they hooked up or she remembered of the concept demo and reached out to him to to finish it but that's so far fetched, it's so much more likely she took it to someone like justin to finish if she remembered of it... 4. he had nothing to do with the song in the first place (where's that supposed registration...) which brings me to asking if we know anything more about it, if i'm missing anything and how much we know about their relationship (or lack of) after 2007 x @Elle @lizzyology y'all might know sumn... xoxo

i’m living for it too like your fav artists are not your besties and never will be! parasocial relationships have gotten out of control and social media has simply conditioned us to care FARRRRR too much about shit that has nothing to do with us + about stuff we know next to nothing about and probably never will i wish taylor swift would outwardly pull a not-caring-about-her-fans move, i think it would be soooo funny

Why do people care what charli thinks in a beef that has nothing to do with her the int is so boreddddddtttt

These lashings that Charli is getting whfndncnf oh it’s bad for her (but oh wow, does she think her recent behavior is cute? she doesn’t owe anyone anything but she needs to get off that high horse… )

LDR10 WILL be a soft grunge glam rock masterpiece and THAT will be the ‘90s inspired sound on this record

There is absolutely 0% chance of happening especially with her in the Deep South now lol but I’d love her to delve into more 90s/00s electronic sounds. I know that 90s influence is everywhere in music right now but it’d be amazing she goes 90s in at least one song in every album. Stuff like this // maybe she can re-kindle something with Moby considering she has DBJAG in the middle of COCC though I can definitely see it happening in LDRX somehow

miss hip was on coke, weed and painkillers and headed for a mental breakdown so... her management left her, she was puking on stage for artsy fartsy reasons, artpop and its app flopped, she was collabing with rapists on a song called do what u want with my body, roar was getting on her nerves, negativity all over on little monsters forum... i'm surprised she wasn't more cunty
