I think other people said that too and it makes sense considering the studio was crowded that day unless they are all from the same team of producers/engineers. Maybe she was just showing them that one particular song but either way it's promising. I think at this point (unless Ben was just lying) is safe to say that practically all the songs are done and she's just doing the final touches with the producers and audio team... (like that recent story with the mysterious Ian) but we know Lana likes to record songs last minute so who knows... again all we have is Ben's comments so if he's lying we're clueless again I'm going to say album in March/April first single maybe October/November (kinda like Chemtrails)

Weyes is really coming to save us. I just know this album is going to be one of if not my top 2022 album. I keep bumping this thread but I really can’t wait lol. Either way the teaser is stunning. Everything is shaping up so beautifully for this release. It’s magical! I’m really curious what the physicals will be like. Also loving the short rollout. Just gives such good energy! Makes me a little nostalgic about Honeymoon lol.

The way the spotify exclusive vinyl / HTG single cover (x) captures the vibe of the album so well. She def should've chose it as the standard album cover. Also the singles really did Not do this album justice lol. This album's So good, all of the singles work wayy better in the context of this album. This Hell is probs the weakest song on the album (even though I do like it).

I’m curious how many songs she has completed for the record as of today. Ben’s Instagram comments (which could potentially be exaggerated) seem to suggest that a good portion of LDR9 is ready, but who knows. I can’t remember who suggested this (maybe @Venice Peach ?), but the idea of the “umbrella” snippet being a listening party for the entire record is a fun thought….especially if it’s a digital release

I'm disappointed to see Jack still working with her. In fact with hindsight, I realize that he's not a bad producer (I can't believe he produced Florence's last album which is a perfection and so many others), but in fact he dares not say no to everything Lana wants. The former collaborator(s) clearly told her the best musical direction to take, Jack is too close to upset her and it gives people weakness because she thinks she has very good ideas. There is food and drink, but since NFR! it's a bit of a descent. And the piano videos don't enchant me too much...

They never specified which was “the shit” (from what I gathered, it was whatever the first song the recorded was), but now I’m curious which after searching, I’m still not sure (if legit) where the “bombastic” & “fire” comment about TJF was from though I’m so, so curious to see which song really sparked LDR9. For NFR, it was HIADT, and that (imo) ended up being a masterpiece. I’m hoping—given her more energetic disposition as of late—that it’s something really fun and playful even if it’s more stripped back
